hey - a chance to talk about something other than emergent pandemics

i shall start :

i was once [ 1997 ~ 2000 ] an apollo moon hoax believer

i realise that many ATS members may be bemused by this - so a clarification :

i always accepted that the appollo program was real - and 12 men walked on the moon - but at the time i belived that the majority of the " epic " images - ie the < 50 of the tens of thousands - that are always reprinted in books magazines etc - were injected into the ALSJ post mission - and were actually taken by proffessionals on earth - using training envirnments and props

part of this was due to my utter ignorance of photography - at the time -

i never owned a camera untill 2003 - and prior to that had mrobally taken more pictures of couples at tourist hotspots who asked - " you take picture of us ? " - and thrust a camera at me - than any other prhotography

so - thats my background

ETA - it was actually david percy - who persuaded me that i was wrong - because - i bought his book - and quickly asscertained that all his none photgraph claims were utter bollox [ engineering etc ] - so i then started to use my precious 4 pence a minuite internet time - to look at his photography claims - critically - and ultimately rejected them too

so - thats me - who else - has a CT belief that they now renounce - lurking in thier past ?

To believe in aliens ?
Each to his own.
I would call it ignorance rather than such a 4th grade word like "stupid"

I used to believe the 9/11 atrocities were due to hi-jacked airliners, but now am persuaded they were holographic cruise missiles sent by alien Zionists. It must be true - I saw it on YouTube.

Ummm...I used to believe...that belief was a state predicated on lack of knowledge...or fact...an unsure flux of...I don’t know ism...and raw...unfettered...ego...

But now I...truly...believe that that belief was merely a tool of ignorance...

Believe it...

Or not...

This one time I was convinced that all the evil in the world
was Gods fault. Glad I snapped out of that brain fart.

I was once a nibiru believer. Till the science proved to me that a planet that size entering our solar system would cause havoc to the orbits of other planets.

I did not so much believe as hope that the 2012 enlightenment was true.

Was a huge freshwater cryptid lover, but as time went along, things like biological niches and ecosystems with limited food stuff became more and more apparent, that a large underwater creature would need a large and steady food supply to maintain its large frame, without those, it would be impossible, you can't be big for the sake of being big.

I would say, Loch Ness was my first real break up in this regard.

I still strongly believe in the Hollow Earth hypothesis, but not anything majestic like underground cities, rather, a large nature subterranean tunnels of varying sizes, inputing and outputting material all across the globe, whether they can be traversed is another matter...

JFK. I took a college course on it. Visited the schoolbook depository. I firmly believe Oswald was the lone shooter. He didn't log any work that morning from his work log. He also didn't report to a staff muster and was found in a movie theater.

If anything, it was JFK who ignored security protocols by the Government. He was ignoring their recommendations for months. If there was ever a time for the Government to take this action it would have been the last few years. They truly hate the man with a passion but nothing....meh. As my professor stated, it's just hard for people to accept that one motivated loser lunatic can take out the most powerful man on the planet. Whenever that happens there are going to be large bags of conspiracies.

Once upon a time, when I was very young,

I believed in the Media...
Walter Cronkite and shi*.

There is No Journalism anymore.
They do Not dig into a story,
they simply state what they are paid to say.

I used to believe that, despite the evidence right in front of my face, that people could not get any more stupid. Sadly, I was wrong about that.

Still waiting for Niribu tho!

John Titor really had me going for awhile.

Roswell didn't hold up to deep scrutiny either.

I fell for the Alien Autopsy and the MJ-12 papers.

Man,what giddy fun those days were.

I miss the good old days.

I use to believe like a Lottery player, there was one chance in a million Mr Trump
would be successful in draining the swamp (The Establishment)

Until, like his predecessor, appointed many CFR members
to his administration.

A man can at least dream.
