Premonition: a strong feeling that something is about to happen, especially something unpleasant.

While browsing through the new coronavirus articles that are online today, I suddenly remembered a thread that I commented on back in early December. I vaguely remembered that the thread was on someone's premonition that something "big" was coming.

Well, I went through my post history and came upon the thread. It was entitled, "Do You Feel Like Something BIG is coming?" It's important to note that this thread was posted on December 11, 2019 and came before any thread concerning the coronavirus was even written on ATS.

Here are a couple of interesting statements from that thread:

...just out of the blue I'll be hit by a feeling that something big and life-changing not only for me but also for the country or world is coming.

I don't know if it's something good or bad, although the feeling I get is "Prepare Yourself", as in, prepare yourself mentally and emotionally.

LINK

How many of us started to "prepare" after the coronavirus made the headlines, by stocking up on supplies and becoming more cognizant on our personal hygiene after being out in public?

Some of you may feel that this is nothing but pure coincidence. But how many actually believe that some of us can "feel" that some future event is about to happen? I'm just curious if this member has had any more premonitions since posting this thread back in December.

Pretty vague premonition (good or bad?). What's the point?

Here's something to consider, how often does such a "premonition" not come to fruition?

Yeah, I recalled that thread after CV hit the news. Interesting to say the least.

Cheers

I like to entertain the idea that we all can. Because everything/everyone is connected in some way.

Most of us just block it out and ignore it.

Hmm I did see this thread before and read a bit of it, but now that you have posted this I thought there was another coronavirus thread even before the big update thread. One that was way back I think around christmas and new year but I cant find it now and was curious as to what all the posts there entail.

Interesting reading on this one too.

Don't that just cover everyone though.
I mean something somewhere is going to happen to someone = I was right.

Those threads pop up from time to time though. Unless that member specifically mentioned a cause for that something big ... I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

no - just no .

its a vague and nebulous " preminition " - that has no date target - no information - just " something "- and it cannot even predict if its good or bad

you have seized it after the fact - and decided it was a preminition of N19COVID

you convenienly ignore all the other - mostly failed " predictions " - there are several // year

so - no

I think saying good or bad you have a good chance of linking the prediction up with something, so in this case pretty damn high.

I remember the thread, kind of a broad brush, interesting timing, but..who knows, some people are intuitive, also see threads simular where not much out of the ordinary follows.

No one could've predicted the Great TP Raid of 2020!

The poster that had a premonition (or was it detailed dream? I'd have to dig back and check, but it was specific in details) about the Japan 9-pointer quake (Great Tohoku Quake) was spot on. THAT poster can honestly say they literally saw it coming beforehand.

Vague posters that cover all their bases a la "something, somewhere, maybe impacting the country or whole world" are not. They're just casting a wide enough net to feel like they were right.

Modern Viking culture has become weird. It used to be raiding monasteries and coastal villages, now it's raiding the toilet paper isle.

I remember that thread but it was really too vague to tie it directly to the coronavirus or any one thing in particular. I do believe that many, many people get a strange, gut feeling that "something is off" and a lot of times it is indicative of a major happening coming down the pike whether they know exactly what that could be or not.

Personally I have had dreams that I have witnessed or experienced later during my waking life but they are normally just mundane, everyday things or events. I would think that there would be others who might be in tune with more important things during their dreaming.

Yeah I remember that thread.
Very peculiar to say the least.

I told my ex we will have to be home by the end of march because i sensed some bumps starting around march, here we are save and sound while others are affected by the quarantine and can't get home...
Easy to say afterwards...

Have you seen donnie darko, this blop that moves out of his solarplexus, thats how I visualize it...

Watch out for end of August beginning of September things will become clearer... And then surprise

Sincerely NC

“ something big “

Hell they could’ve been talking about my mother-in-law .

But then I’ve never seen anyone make a prediction about something big and life-changing in over 10 years on the conspiracy sites . 🤨⚡️

I’m with Phage.

I sent the following text to my husband on March 5th:

"Hey baby, had to come change my coveralls....a tab was broken.... anyway, i forgot to tell you my dream....we were somewhere out of state and there were some Chinese women there. One had on gamecock socks. So, here's my crazy prediction: there will soon be cases of the virus at USC...... had to tell you....lol. i love you"

March 6th Sc had its first 2 cases, 1 of which was in our little town, about 35 miles from where USC is. I told my hubby well, my dream was close, but not right on...... he said ummmmmm look up who owns BOTH hospitals where the cases are. YUP USC!!!!! My hubby usually laughs at my intuitions..... this made his eyes about pop out of his head....lol

This sort of 'something big (but vague) is coming' posts appear every week.

Ok, found the thread from the poster I mentioned, who is no longer active on here.

Coming Massive Earthquake off Japan - A Dream

.
.
,

Last night, I had a brief dream in which I saw a map of the USGS world view (which I do check on and off)

On it I saw a LARGE RED sqaure surrounded by many other smaller squares just of the east coast of Japan. The thing was this square was much larger than the normal size square USGS put up for a 7+

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Not quite as detailed as I thought (it's been nine years, after all) BUT the noted specifics are uncanny, and only a little over a month prior to the actual mega quake.

It freaked the guy out and lead to a reduction and eventual cessation of posting. Even if it was the coincidence to beat all other coincidences, I'd be freaked out and drop off the forum map eventually, too.

To date, this prediction post is the only one on ATS I'm willing to lend any credence to.
