As I sit here tonight trying not to scratch the red, bumpy, itchy, contact dermatitis afflicted backs of both hands, ravaged from the horrors of obsessive alcohol hand sanitizer usage the past 2 weeks, I find my mind wandering towards new theories. Primarily my mind wanders towards the multinational Big Salve companies that no doubt are making money dry cracked hand over itchy inflamed fist. From deep moisturizer power players Vaseline and Jurgens to those evil bastards Cortizone-10, each of them very well may be behind this entire farce... managing to pervert a mostly saner society into a gaggle of OCD hand cleansing schizos virtually overnight.

Follow the money... and the hives, the itchy, painful, excruciating hives.

if you're allergic to the sanitiser you're using, you should probably consider... using a different one? there are all sorts of non-allergenic, sensitive skin soaps & sanitisers out there these days.

I won't ever put that on my skin.

I read the label...
It's full of harmful chemicals, some are even carcinogenic.

Please don't ever use that junk again.
Just wash your hands normally.

I just don't understand how on one hand it's a well known and accepted fact that the govt and corporations lie constantly and intentionally harm us for profit, yet on the other hand you're pouring out the poison those same entities provided for you to harm yourself on yourself.

Yes it's killing the germs but it's also killing your skin.

How about this:
Do not put any chemicals on or in our bodies until after significant research and weighing the options rationally.

We'll save money, time, and our bodies.

Sigh...
Lol

Put some honey on it ok?
Promise me you'll at least try.

Leave it on for awhile.
You may bandage them to keep the stickying under wraps.

Then remember the lesson we've learned here.

Oh believe me, I am done with the hand sanitizers. Currently I just finished with cold wet cloths on the hands and used coconut oil afterward. Seems to have taken the edge off.

This is literally the first time I've used sanitizer, and I used it too frequently at work this week. They installed dispensers all around the building so anytime I walked by one, I used it. Even after washing my hands, I used the sanitizer. Grab a coffee... sanitizer, pick something off the printer... sanitizer, leave my office to refill my water... sanitizer. I realized yesterday it was bad, today it's been far worse. Great example of doing something with good intentions when I should have learned more about it first.

I suspect that dry skin and contact dermatitis is just the beginning. The toilet paper brigade is wrapping themselves head to toe in preparation for the end times. If they dry out completely they could turn feral. Next thing you know we're up to our eyebrows in reanimated toilet paper mummies and nobody wants that.

I recommend smearing the bodies in hand sanitizer before applying the toilet paper. If we light them off first they'll be easy to track as they pass between the choke-points and straight into our firing line.

Soap and water (warm water if available) are as effective, if not more so, than sanitizer.

If soap and water is not available, carry a pair of gloves; any kind will do, even leather, they don’t have to be “rubber”. Remember, the object is simply to avoid transferring the virus from a surface to a mucosal membrane such as your eyes, nose, or mouth.

Just pretend your handling crime scene evidence (which side of the law you’re on is up to you, it’s your fantasy!).

Then sanitize the gloves, or toss them.

I like to put hand sanitizer on my head.

I enjoy how it tingles.

I jst came for the T&A part. I'm only interested in the coming ace wars, and the fall-out of government chaos. Olive oil, that's the secret, rub it on everywhere, and if you can or dare remain nude. give it time to be absorbed and re-apply often and profusely.... ahhhhh ohhhh what a feeling....... and, no more dry cracked skin.

I'm just about to craft a gun out of water gun in order to shoot hand sanitizer to anyone who dare to cough in a radius of 10 meter around me or the miserable who'll challenge me over TP.

My full armor is composed of : tinfoil hat (absolutely essential to scream outloud doomporn bullsnip), black plague gasmask ('cause it looks great), plastic bag torso (for chest protection AND to trigger ecofreaks), float tubes for arms, pants with 20 sewn pockets with hockey pads for front protection and Crocs sandals in order to repulse people.

I used to get terrible patches of eczema on my hands and they are very susceptible to cracking.

I gave up on steroid creams a few years back...THIS is the best stuff I've ever used and I will never go back to steroid creams: Amazon -- Herbal Cream

*womp womp* It's a chinese herbal cream. But it is fabulous.

You have to use it several times a day and before bed, at first. But once you have everything cleared up, it doesn't come back. At least not for me. Now and then I'll find a new patch elsewhere that pops up and I knock it out right away.

Cheap, too.

Sort of. Honey, REAL honey, is a valuable commodity in Alaska in March. I used a medicated lotion made from bees wax. Hands are a LOT better today... wont be using the sanitizer again now.

Ok good. All bee products can be very helpful.

But get some raw honey asap. Diversify your collection as your budget permits. Different batches are better for different issues.

By the way, honey is the best sanitizer because it kills all the pathogenic microbes while actually helping regenerate your cells. It'll work on all pathogens.

It is especially good for regenerating your skin. It'll even help your body isolate and kill cancerous cells.
