An influential evangelical Christian journalist put President Donald Trump on notice over his many lies related to the coronavirus outbreak.
David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network said Trump’s vow last week that “anyone who wants a test can get a test” has turned out to be “100% false.” And Brody ― who in 2018 told The New York Times he had “phenomenal” access to the White House ― called out Trump for confusing Americans and repeatedly providing false information:

A lot of losers crying about what should have been done, yet for a issue that no nation in the world could be prepared for, best estimates in worst case scenarios thought up by rational and safe people, we learn as we go and as far as I am concerned, the US has been doing pretty good, aside from the usual fear mongering and ridiculous buying sprees, the US has fared pretty good.

I'm in no hurry for a test kit, I feel fine and if I am sick, I'll go to the VA.

Did China threaten to withhold pharmaceuticals to the USA? YES

Based on these two above facts, put two and two together and you can see who owns the USA. Chinese money has bought many politicians here.

David Brody a "not great" journalist, regardless of his personal belief system/philosophy/mythology.

The president's role here is part-cheerleader/part-decision maker. Behind the scenes, all presidents make tough calls and appoint/direct the actual experts to do the diligence. This has been true for every president and, god willing, it will be true for the presidents who follow as well.

In front of the cameras/microphones, his role is to bring Americans together in an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of everyone during a crisis. Especially "us" as citizens by the way. Leadership comes from the top. The last thing we need from our president right now is butthurt "the sky is falling" whining and an overabundance of fee-fee's.

There is a significant difference between needing a test and wanting a test. The problem is (and has been) that the CDC has not been able to deliver on a number of high-quality tests, so anyone who wants one needs to suck it up because there are a limited number of test-kits per state and those are reserved for patients with all three major symptoms + comorbidities (heart disease, renal failure, untreated diabetes, old age).

The lack of a test-kit in every stew-pot is NOT the fault of our president. It is emblematic of several baaaaad decisions made by the humans in charge of approving tests for use in the US and manufacturing limitations of said test once approved.

This is basic common sense stuff that most people lack already and definitely lack when there is a crisis and their higher brain functions cease full operation to conserve energy for their reptile complex and mammalian drives.
