Good time to pick up that new yacht, cheap, from the cruise lines.

It is a good thing that we have most of our money in bank accounts now so the hackers won't lose any money.

What fun is it going to a hotel where the staff is home sick?

Those Vegas buffets are bound to suffer.
I hate old shrimp.

Everyone's panicked.

Nice rooms in Vegas are now going for 15 dollars a night.

Not that I've ever been, but still.

Is covid-19 nationalist or globalist?
I'm thinking globalist.

We've "lost" 25x that in the same period. Good thing we aren't 65.

I'm thinking about on par with certain flu epidemics in the '50s and '60s -- not nice, but not worth this level of panic either. I think by the time the summer rolls around, people will be out and about again.

Spring officially begins in eight days.
I somehow don't see this resolving itself in the next twelve weeks.

Then it's summer.

I've decided I'm not going with the head in the sand crowd on this.

Natural gas.
Not oil.

Russia does both, and it fuels their economy to large degree. Granted, they're smarter with it than Venezuela though.

We'll see.
Travel industry will suffer when the employees are all home sick all summer.

Who said anything about resolving itself? I said people will see it for what it is and decide it's not worth the panic and start living their lives again. Life didn't stop during the year of the Asian Flu pandemic in '57-'58 or the year of the Hong Kong Flu pandemic in '68-'69, but they definitely had pandemics in those years.

Not to mention overall sanitization and sterilization techniques, or truly disposable instruments. "It will be as bad as 1918!" You mean back when doctors didn't routinely wash their hands and dozens of "sick" people were cared for in large, open rooms?

BTW -- Your "Doctor" is my favorite Doctor, ever!

The most fun. I get as many towels as I want now.

Yes, I cut my teeth on Tom Baker when I was five. Tenant came close and is my next favorite, but Baker is still the best.
