What does that mean?
I get the circuit breakers...but THIS is being driven more by oil pricing than CV.

Right now, it's no labor costs. No one is working.

Not accurate, there are still many factories open. The products that the company I work for sells come primarily from Guadong and Anhui (as well as domestic and European manufacturers). There are delays but they are still producing.

If it goes down 20% will halt trading for the rest of the day, wild stuff.

OPEC potentially collapsing I hear?

Something about the Russians and Saudis having a tiff over oil, but that spills over into our own production since the Saudi attempt to bring Russia back into line hurts our shale industries.

It's actually OPEC, Russia and thier customer China.

We're going to get pounded for daring to push for fair trade deals.

Which we will win, in time...

Unless those 3 do enough economic damage to us to flip the White House to Democrats.

Then China wins, OPEC wins, Russia, wins, the Democrats win.

The only losers will be the American people.

Or Globalists v. Nationalists. You can say it that way. And, of course, they don't care how much damage they do to their people because their people don't get to protest the suffering.

And we have to hope enough of ours are smart enough to figure it all out or wait it out.

Guess the Democrats picked a bad year to nominate a senile man. As my husband says, their options are demented or dementia.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. I think once the mystery starts to work its way out of this thing, it will be revealed for what it is, and that's not nearly so bad as what it's been portrayed to be.

Sure they will. Gas will be cheap.
Americans will just be spending their vacation money INSIDE the US instead of abroad.

I haven't looked.
About 60% of my income is in stocks since I retired.

I don't have huge expenses as my house is paid for and I don't carry balances on credit.
So far my bank card has not declined at the grocery store.

My plan is to buy but when. If it stays in a free fall I could lose even more.
