It's funny you say this because about six weeks ago a rough cold went through my family like wild fire.
One day one son had it when he came over after work and the very next day the three that live here were sick.
It was a respiratory illness that lasted about a week. The thing is I always brag about how we don't get colds and no one in my family ever had the flu.

We all got sick and we all recovered and at no point was anyone so ill we thought we needed a doctor. We all resolved in our own.

It was weird and I even said something at the time about the rapid spread through the family because it was so unusual for us to get sick.

I wonder if the virus has actually been here for months.

Actually I don't believe they are lying.
The rate of transmission and death rate outside of China kind of matches the figures the Chinese are putting out.

It sure isn't spreading rapidly or killing many.

A lot of those new drug commercials state very quickly, behind the beautiful images and pretty music, something like - May lower your risk to fight infections including the flu. They really are pushing a lot of these drugs on the world, especially in America.

Yes, it's been stated by virologists that Asians are more susceptible. Europeans have a much higher likliehood of carrying the virus without symptoms, becoming "super spreaders".

What about the member who made a thread saying they had the virus and so far it wasnt that bad?

I read one lady who said she is recovered but said it was rough, real bad lung spasms?

I’m actually hoping the reason the mortality rate is what it is in China, is because of the amount of pollution that might have already been harming their lungs...
We’re in a much less polluted environment, so I’m hoping that we can stay healthier, even if we catch it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Think you’re being a little melodramatic. For a start you don’t even know if what you have is Covid-19.

As someone else said most healthy young adults survive with only minor symptoms.

UK here too, ive been ill for most of January & Feb

Got another cold now

We've all been coughing and sneezing for two months, fever for a couple of days in January

So i'm not sure what is going on, but I've never know anything like it, never been ill like this for this long, mild but just can kick it

If i had to put my tin foil hat on.... I can only assume there is some sort of attempt at releasing similar coronaviruses UK wide for some sort of herd immunity for whats coming, as it does seem its very wide spread, people are getting very bad flu like symptoms others 3/4 week long colds they cant kick , as i said, i definitely don't remember anything like this before
