With all the people that have contracted the virus why has some media outlet or youtube channel interview anyone? You would think the netwoks would be clamoring to get someone...I would assume they would have a crap load of viewers? Is it because most if not all outlets want to perpetuate the worst scenario and continue to have people glued to their channel for long stretches of time?

Just a silly thought that I'v been pondering for a few weeks..and also why are countries not condemning the Chinese President for not reacting as quickly as one had hoped...is his country not responsible foe this mess including their lack of regulations around the sales of live animals...they are rediculously strict with their population around everything else..

Because the truth about its (lack of) severity would ruin their narrative.

The fatality rate for people ages 10-30 is about 0.2%. Climbing to a whopping 1.3% if you're in your 50's.

I saw an interview just the other day. Can't remember where but maybe fox. Man with coronavirus was being interviewed. He was quarantined but was a live interview through Skype or something. Older gentleman, perhaps in his early 60s.

But, yeah, for the vast majority of people, the interview would go like this:

Q: What was it like, having the illness?
A: Kind of like a really bad cold or a solid case of the flu.

Face facts:

1. Can't interview a survivor who didn't survive.

2. Majority of survivors don't get very ill.

You are looking for the pictures of the piles of corpses.

Not much choice. He's in quarantine so he has to be there. At least they're getting valuable data on the course of things ... data we couldn't get from China.

World Bank announces $12bn assistance to combat coronavirus

Breaking News

The World Bank announced a $12 billion aid package on Tuesday that will support countries to combat the coronavirus outbreak. While talking to media the World Bank President David Malpass said,
"The goal is to provide fast, effective action that responds to country need."
"It is critical to recognize the extra burden on poor countries, least equipped in the struggle to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus," he added.
In a statement, the bank said, "The funds, some of which are targeted to the world's poorest nations, can be used for medical equipment or health services and will include expertise and policy advice.
" The coronavirus started from central China in December has swallowed over 3,000 lives worldwide so far and infected more than 90,000 people.
Malpass further said "the money, $8 billion of which is new, will go to countries that request help.
" Currently, the bank has been in contact with many countries, but it didn't clarify that which member nation would receive aid first. "The point is to move fast. Speed is needed to save lives," he said in a conference call.
"We want to make the best use of the World Bank's extensive resources and global expertise and the historical knowledge of crises," he said.

Canny get blood from a stone or collect taxes from dead people for that matter.
