He’s probably getting out before the wheels fall off completely...
They killed Star Wars and marvel is next.

Like this, new Star wars. 🤔🤔
Edit: rise of republic.
Here's the right clip.

Pause that video at 1:25 and read the board. It's going to be more PC nonsense. I personally don't care because I never cared much for Star Wars. Just add it to the list to the other Star Wars movies I haven't watched.

When you pay four billion for something the bar gets set pretty high..

Not for making a coherent story over a trilogy of movies for one of the best known movie franchises though.

Story schmory. How'd they do at the Box Office? The last I heard, Rise of the Skywalker has made over $1 billion alone.

The first of the trilogy took in 2 billion
The second took in 1.4 billion
The third took in 1 billion or half of the first film

The third film cost 275 to 300 million to make.
Another 200 million to market.
That around 500 million spent to produce.

Now the studios get 53% of box office sales on average but let's call it 60%.

60% of 1 billion is 600 million.

So Disney has made a profit of 100 million on the last movie.
Not so great of a return on a 4 billion investment.

Didn't they already do that?

No, sadly. I also want them to have rainbow colored light sabers which they use to kill the lone hetro character in the film.

Meh... close enough

Just got off the phone with Kathleen since I've been reassigned by Masonic HQ to Hollywood, she's bringing him back for a standalone film called Jar Jar Head Binks. It's about the New Republic's updated soldiering policy called 'please ask and please do tell' about gay soldiering in the brave galaxy they've created.

Rumor has it that Kathleen Kennedy is going to be gone soon too...

Rumor: Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy Banned From The Set Of The Mandalorian Season 2

A new rumor details that Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has been banned from the set of The Mandalorian Season 2.

The rumor comes from YouTuber Doomcock, who tells his viewers, “I have some alleged leaks straight from The Mandalorian production regarding Kathleen Kennedy and the future of Lucasfilm.”

He adds, “This information comes to me via a brand new source albeit a source I’ve known for some time now. A friendly source, I have no reason to suspect would feed me false information. All that said, please treat this information as rumor pending further confirmation.”

Doomcock continues, “I am informed by this source who is directly tied to people with close knowledge of The Mandalorian Season 2 that they are currently shooting Season 2 of The Mandalorian and that Kathleen Kennedy has been banned from the set.”

He adds, “I repeat. According to this rumor obtained directly from sources with direct knowledge of the production, Kathleen Kennedy has been banned from The Mandalorian set.”

Doomcock then details that Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will take control of Lucasfilm.

“I am informed that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are in the process of seizing control of Lucasfilm,” says Doomcock.

He continues, “As much as two weeks ago I might have doubted the credibility of this information. However, this rumor dovetails neatly with reporting from Midnight’s Edge regarding the current state of Lucasfilm.”

“On February 1st, they posted a video citing a rumor from Pinewood that Kathleen Kennedy was heading out the door for early retirement, citing leaked messages to directors of the Obi-Wan television show that they could expect to be dealing with someone other than Kennedy in the near future.”

If this rumor becomes fact, I couldn't be happier. If you want to make money with a popular franchise, don't alienate your fan base... especially a fan base as dedicated and obsessed as Star Wars fans...

Why do you think Lucasfilm was able to sell itself for 4 billion dollars? Because the fan base is so over the top for Star Wars that Lucasfilm was practically printing their own money with their merchandising... and then Disney and Kathleen Kennedy shat all over them telling them everything they felt was wrong with them if they didn't like their new direction...

Earth to Disney... cater to the people who pay for your stuff, or they won't... business 101.

It was put on hold after the disaster called "Rise of Skywalker" but it was supposed to be another Disney+ show, staring Ewan McGreggor.

There are rumors they may sideline the TV show idea and go with a feature movie instead, but who knows at this point.
