We had a Pandemic Sunday movie day yesterday, watching Contagion, Flu and 28 Days Later. What are your recommendations for the next Pandemic Sunday?

The way things are looking?

There's a Clive Owen movie that's very End of the World-ish. I can't remember the name of it however.

Ah! Found it! Children of Men with Clive Owen.

The BBC TV Series " Survivors " was a great series. Made in the 1970's but remade again 30 years later

A couple of films. " The Satan Bug " written by Alistair McLean.

" 80,0000 Suspects "

There is a docudrama found on YouTube called "After Armageddon" which follows the adventures of a family attempting to flee the city after a pandemic begins.

Independence Day with Will Smith.

There's another Will Smith movie where he plays a doctor trying to come up with a cure to save the world.

There's also the Book of Eli with Denzel Washington

All of the movies that I've suggested are great but
I highly recommend the Book of Eli

Me too, I was obsesssed by that film, watched it as a kid and got the book out of the library. It was printed in green, like a computer screen.
Not too keen on that rat dyeing on camera [always closed my eyes for hat scene] but all in all, one of my all time ever favourite films.
Never tried the new one, I just know it won't be as good.

Me, too!

Remake was awful.

Quote still gives me chills!
