Rocket barrage at Israel today - Videos: Iron Dome intercepts and the sound of sirens

The rocket fire came after an irregular clash along the Gaza border earlier in the day in which Israeli troops shot dead a member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group as he planted a bomb along the border. The Israeli army then retrieved his body using a bulldozer.

The Islamic Jihad took responsibility for the attack, writing on its website that it had fired the rockets in response to Israel taking the terrorist operative’s corpse.

The large barrage triggered multiple rounds of sirens early Sunday evening in the cities of Ashkelon and Sderot and in smaller Israeli communities in the area around the Strip known as the Gaza periphery.

Not breaking news because how often it happens.

It looks like no one has been hurt as a result of the rocket fire. I hope it stays that way.

What kicked this thing off ,according to Israeli media, is a terrorist was planting a bomb and was killed by the IDF.

Now that is how you intercept rockets!! Damascus should take a lesson, every time the rockets go the other way something in Damascus gets flattened.
