Do you have anything to back that up?

Just anecdotal. This stuff is way too new to have been thoroughly studied.

However, I've seen a number of these kids paraded out and in almost every case it seems the parents are LBGTQ activist of some sort. Just even logically, there is no possible way this is statistically possible when transgenders are maybe what 1% of the population? Then you factor in LBGT couples with kids are already a super small minority as well. Combine those two data points, the odds that you have legit transgender kids with LBGT parents is super small.

Put it this way... If you say transgrenders are 1% of population that means 1 out 100. Then you say that maybe 5% of those 100 people are also gay.

The odds that the 1 person who is transgender winds up in a family with the 5 gay people is abysmally small.

Yet, all these kids getting press have LBGTQ parents.... it simply does not make sense statisically or logically. You don't need a study to see this...

How does telling society that lgbtq are all mentally ill going to help anything?

How does ignoring the 40% attempted suicide rate help anything?

www.hrc.org...

www.thetaskforce.org...

www.nbcnews.com...

I think telling these people that they are perfectly normal is keeping them from seeking help with their mental issues.

On a side note.
I think many soldiers returning from action have mental issues and society has stigmatized Mental therapy.
Something like this issue could help change that stigma...

Drag is adult entertainment similar to burlesque. I don't have any problem with that, but I don't think it's something kid-friendly any more than burlesque is.

I think the only reason you see any kind of fad or tolerance for it is because the LBGT+Whatever Other Letters crowd has glommed onto it as a frontier for their rights.

I don't think their mental illness should be "fixed"
I think they need "helped" and no that doesn't mean changed. ”

"His mother" now that's the problem isn't it? She's supposed to be the responsible one here.

But I guess if I decided that porn was a reasonable expression of my kid's childhood desires as an adult, then it's all good, right?

Are you a parent?

His mother only allows him to preform at G-rated venues. What else can she do?

Ummm, she is his mother. There is this word, you may have heard of it. "no"

I use it with my kid all the time because he's used to hearing it and know that I mean it, he usually doesn't fight me on it.

Cool story..

But now you are going to tell an other parent on how to parent their kid. She has a kid with a passion and allows him to express it under conditions. Personally I think she deserves a little more credit but according to some she should either be executed or thrown in jail.

Do you like it when people tell you how to parent?

I know none of the people supporting this nonsense are going to address the statistical probability I brought up. However, I wanted to show how just even taking a cursory look at it would show that these kids are being influenced because the probability of these two events occurring are basically close to 0.

Let's assume a population of 100 people.

If we accept that 1% of people are transgender than that means the probability of a person being transgender is 1 out of 100 or 1 / 100 = 1% probability of occurring

Next, if we assume that 5% of the 100 people are also LGBTQ. Therefore the probability of this second event occurring is 5 out of 100 or 5 /100 = 5%.

My stats is a little rough, but I believe to calculate the probability of two distinct events occurring is probability of Event 1 x probability of event 2. So event one is transgender kid and event two is LBGT parents. Therefore 1% * 5% = .0005%.

In other words, the odds that a transgender kid also has LBGTQ parents based on their population is less than half of a quarter of percent! It simply is not logical or reasonable to think that all these transgender kids have LBGTQ parents randomly. This cannot be a randomly occurring event because the probability of it happening in the number we see is simply too small.

These kids are being influenced by their parents.

First you challenge whether or not I'm a parent, and then when I say I am and that I say no to things I don't think my child should do.

You whine about how I shouldn't tell someone else how to parent ...

Nice.

Let's face it. This fits your personal agenda, so you think it's all cool.

I think it gets lumped in with kiddie pageants (like the sort Honey BooBoo and Jon Benet were involved in), some modern dance kids get into, similar. Things we shouldn't do to our children because it attempts to turn them into mini-adults before they understand the context of it. It's more for *our* pleasure as adults than it is for them and it carries with it that disturbing sexual context.

It should be quite obvious from the story that this doesn't fit in to your narrative of parents pushing their kids...you just want it to be.

But since you seem to fail to read the story and ramble on about other cases I think it is pretty pointless to continue arguing this particular story.

Most of the stories about this stuff are propaganda pushing an agenda. I don't expect the story to say the parents are activist and pushing it on their children. They are going to spin it to make it look as normal as possible as that is the agenda.

We can read between the lines...

Parents these days have forgotten the word NO...... I go back to a time

when my children and most adults had never heard of .......

Anorexia or bulemia

In 1973, Hilde Bruch published a book with a number of case studies, called Eating Disorders: Obesity, Anorexia Nervosa, And The Person Within. As the disorder reached public awareness in the 1970s, cases increased, spreading beyond the upper class.

transexualism

Nowadays children haven't the capacity or ability to reason, everything

is an obstacle, a huge drama in which they are the centre of attention,

aided and abetted by parents of a similar mindset. Anything less than that

and they have a melt down of gigantic proportions....... they have no self

esteem and rely on how many likes they receive on social media to define

*who they actually are* a very sad reflection on how far humans have

evolved and whats in store for the future!
