It’s still early, but Sanders leads Biden by 37.7 percentage points with 3 percent of precincts reporting.
so seems trump really wants to run agains standers in the general election. and with one primary left before super tuesday we should be expecting more of the non viable dems to drop out
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Looks like Crazy Bernie is doing well in the Great State of Nevada. Biden & the rest look weak, & no way Mini Mike can restart his campaign after the worst debate performance in the history of Presidential Debates. Congratulations Bernie, & don’t let them take it away from you!
but then from same source biden is tooting his horn calling him self the "come back kid" and implies this is where his momentum builds
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is the projected winner of the Nevada caucus, according to the Associated Press. — Kelsey Snell, NPR Congressional Correspondent
Former Vice President Joe Biden said Saturday that his campaign is positioned for a comeback, after lackluster performance in the contests in Iowa and New Hampshire. "Look, I know we don’t have the final results yet, but I feel really good," Biden told supporters in Las Vegas. "You put me in a position — the press is ready to declare people dead quickly, but we’re alive and we’re coming back and we’re going to win." Biden’s campaign manager, Greg Schultz, tweeted Saturday that the campaign believes Biden will place second in Nevada based on its internal data and noted that according to entrance polls, Biden won the black vote, support from voters over the age of 65 and voters who oppose “Medicare for All.” "I think we’re going to go, we’re going to win in South Carolina and then Super Tuesday, and we are on our way," Biden said.
i THINK the first primary/Caucus that bloomberg is in will be super Tuesday ones right?
LAS VEGAS — Mike Bloomberg is privately lobbying Democratic Party officials and donors allied with his moderate opponents to flip their allegiance to him — and block Bernie Sanders — in the event of a brokered national convention. The effort, largely executed by Bloomberg’s senior state-level advisers in recent weeks, attempts to prime Bloomberg for a second-ballot contest at the Democratic National Convention in July by poaching supporters of Joe Biden and other moderate Democrats, according to two Democratic strategists familiar with the talks and unaffiliated with Bloomberg. Advertisement The outreach has involved meetings and telephone calls with supporters of Biden and Pete Buttigieg — as well as uncommitted DNC members — in Virginia, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma and North Carolina, according to one of the strategists who participated in meetings and calls.
