Bloomberg To Grieving Family: Elderly Cancer Patients Are Too Expensive

Billionaire and Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg said in a 2011 video that elderly cancer patients should be denied treatment in order to cut health care costs.

I don't know about ya'll, but I for one do not believe in denying medical treatment to people in need of it, regardless of the person's age. Bloomberg is discriminating against the elderly.

We’ve got to sit here and say which things we’re going to do, and which things we’re not, nobody wants to do that. Y’know, if you show up with prostate cancer, you’re 95 years old, we should say, ‘Go and enjoy. Have a nice [inaudible]. Live a long life. There’s no cure, and we can’t do anything.’ If you’re a young person, we should do something about it,”

“Society’s not ready to do that yet,” he added.

So not only does this guy like to pimp out his daughter, but he wants to deny the elderly with cancer, and other similar conditions, medical treatment. Bloomberg is a sick, twisted, evil SOAB.

Bloomberg made the comments while visiting a grieving family whose brother had died after reportedly waiting 73 hours in an emergency room.

Stories like that are why Twitter has turned against Bloomberg. Suspending accounts that support him.

www.latimes.com...

I can hear President Trump: "Welcome to the club mini-Mike!"

I'd have LOVED to be in the same room as this piece of garbage as he said that to my Grandmother. Buttberg, when you say things like this(and others), you really need to be worrying about your own health. Punk.

This guy is so detached from reality. I'm surprised anyone pays attention to what he says. As Mr T would say "I pity the fool" that can't see what an absolute idiot Bloom is, a rich idiot but an idiot none the less. Watching him flush his money down the drain on ads is entertaining. 452 million he's spent to date on ads, 30k ads per minute.

Makes one wonder if he in his 90's gets prostate cancer he will wander off and die without spending money on trying to fix it.

Nevermind... I know exactly what he will do in that situation.

He's a pretty sterling example of an elitist prick... one set of rules for the peasant class and another set entirely for him and his friends.

That’s pretty much what my dad did in his 80’s.
He had a rare type of leukemia and refused the chemo.
After he watched my mom go through chemo and radiation he wasn’t going to have any of that crap.

Not a fan of chemo here.

In my family after we get 100 or so we start getting Parkinson's.

I've had more than one relative wander off into the woods with a horse pistol because they don't want to live like that and wanted to die with a little dignity.

So more than understand.

Mike won't do that though.

Bloomberg is literally everything Democrats have been accusing Trump of for years. I think we are about to see the biggest political Hippocratic 180's in history.

Bloomberg, Sanders, Buttigig, it doesn't matter.

Any leftist gets in, this will happen and be the norm.

Bloomberg probably has the politicians version of health care- the best there is, and free...on our dime.

I was just about to say the same thing. The Left are all for govt. run healthcare and think euthanasia is a good thing. I don't believe for one second that they would think a 95 yr old would be worth wasting any resources on . Bloomberg is perfect for the Left.

I think I'd be the same way. I still don't think it would be right to deny medical treatment to elderly people with a serious similar condition just because they are "old"...

Exactly! You know he would be a hypocrite in that situation or if it were one of his elderly family members. You think he would be cool with having medical treatment denied to his elderly wife? Not a chance in hell! Dude is a complete hypocrite. Typical of Dems these days though.

That's assuming you can even find a doctor who gives a damn if you live or die. Depending on where you live (even in the US) that can be a challenge. Believe it or not. I've never seen one genuine emotion (other than fear or anger) from a medical professional. And half of them where I live can't speak English worth a damn.

The American healthcare system is already garbage. It's just filled to the brim with a bunch of lowlife profiteers and parasites who always want your money and then give you precious little of what you paid for. And they'll probably still ignore you and tell you nothing is wrong when something obviously is.

Just another elite super rich guy who will never have to worry about doing without anything because he has money to burn... that is unless he burns all his money on political ads.
But, we have the worlds greatest healthcare system I am told, if you can afford it and I guess according to bloomburg you also have to be young enough to justify it?
The guy will probably manage to buy himself into office.

Not so different from Obama who said that sometimes grandma should just take the pain pill.
