They started in a garage in Lomita, Ca - the next town over from me. "I Don't Want To Grow Up" was sort of an anthem for me and my friends. Never wanted to be like our parents and now wouldn't want to be like the MSM conditioned youth.


They inspired us with their focus and discipline - nonconformity with a purpose.

Awesome, definitely up my alley! They sound really similar to one of my South American favorites, Los Cuchillos -





Garage/Surf/Instro was where I ended up after punk faded away (my last 3 bands were Elvis Can't Surf, The Remoras, and Helldiver). I've been thinking of doing a Surf/Instro thread here someday - maybe now is the time.
