1000 threads later - sometimes i resisted, tried to present my point of view, and always failed. ATS is a bubble, a tiny bubble among billions of other bubbles, just grains of dust in a virtual world - real life takes place outside.

Let's say 90 percent of the users on ATS are national romantics, Trump supporters and right-wing radicals (yes, they are here too). The pitiful rest is made up of a wide variety of people. Daily attacks are launched from here against liberals, democrats, climate activists, gun opponents, transsexuals, artists, judges, journalists etc.. basically against the whole world. At the same time despots, oligarchs, billionaires, dictators are defended. Horrible stories are spread, but nothing comes true. Conspiracy theories, i know. You can always hide behind them. Decency, morality, the stuff from the Bible, none of it counts here - it only counts if you can use it to support your own ideology.

And there's always hatred and contempt. Self-contempt, if you want to explain it psychologically. Megalomania. Psychosis. Paranoia. Anxiety. And who do you benefit? The community? The children? The weak? No, you benefit the destructive forces whose aim is to make the white race the dominant life form and to abolish all others. It may sound exaggerated, but at its core, unfortunately, it is correct. Read the pamphlets, the manifestos, the explanations of the right-wing radical murderers and you will find everything that is going on here on ATS every day. It's all about restoring old orders.

There is also good here. When it comes to music, UFOs, movies. It's where we all meet at eye level and understand each other, mostly. Then it's a peaceful approach to ATS. Take a breath. Until the next Rant is posted. It's all going round and round. And leads to some users becoming even more radical and one day taking up arms and playing God. So it does matter what happens here, even if this platform is really only a grain in the wind.

By the way, freedom of opinion is finite. There are limits to everything. If there weren't, we'd be back in the Stone Age. I cannot insult a three-year-old and then invoke freedom of speech. For example. When someone encourages violence, you've reached a limit. It's called civilized intercourse.

I live by the rule: treat everyone equally. I don't always succeed, but at least I try. My life is pretty peaceful. Although I have quite a lot of people with migration background in my neighbourhood!

By the way, where does the assumption come from that Antifa is a bigger threat than right-wing radicalism for the world? But please, give me the facts. We all must die. Those kind of facts.

Sounds exactly like what the left in America trot out every election season.

I have an alternate theory about ATS that you are not going to like.

It is filled with people of all nations who see through the lies the left uses to maintain power.

They are smart, articulate and never fail to point out the flaws in a system that doesn't work.

Like socialism, communism, progressivism.

That there is a much smaller membership of left-leaning members here just means the actual intelligent people who lean left got tired of being proven wrong time and time and time again and went elsewhere for their daily dose of hate.

Ats is the place I come when I want to talk to rednecks, intensly religious folks and crazy people. It always has been. This place has always been full of people like that. Nothing's changed.

So you judge people based on one characteristic in their life? Says more about you than anyone else.

By the way, calling people rednecks is equivalent to calling a black guy the N-word is some places. So you might want to be careful using that word or you might find yourself making an unplanned trip to the dentist.

We spent all those years warning about the New World Order only to fall into a New World Disorder , sad thing is some people love it.
It seems what we have here now is a cult with unquestioning obedience to the leader taking cues from his words and actions so it's unsurprising there's so much anger and hate.

Things have changed , the fire is out and we've left the EU .... Sunshine and roses have returned to our green fields.

Sadly for you it seems 4 more years of chaos approaches.

Well please don't hold back. I would like to know what I have lost so I can get it back. My daily life has actually gotten better, because the City and county have both decriminialized pot since 2018, the governor has gotten rid of common core education program and my kids are having an easier time with their school work. There is even a steel plant opening north of me which will create and employ some nice manufacturing jobs. Steel production in Florida, sounds like good economic impact. And it's a green job because they are turning scrap steel into rebar.

Federally, I don't have to worry about loyalists to foreign causes trying to start a hot civil war by way of attacking the second amendment, my existence tax has been lifted, I am personally taxed lower on my earnings than I had been before, I'm getting more money back in tax refund...

I'm having trouble seeing what I lost. Please help me understand.
