Biden is a nice shiny target for Trump and the rest of the Republicans to focus on while other candidates lay the ground work and build up their bases. That’s his role.
And it worked beautifully.
This is chess, not checkers. It appears the DNC learned something from the last election.
I love how you just bastardized what we say...
The mind of a leftist is a truly amazing thing...

Which candidate from the left do you think would really do well for us?
So far the other two options look like Pete and Bloomberg. DNC looks like they're loading the deck against Bernie.. So it's a wet behind the ears establishment shill, or a billionaire extorting the system to hijack a ticket bid.
Bernie is the only one. But he’s a little too centrist for my tastes. Bloomberg is nothing more than a competent Donald Trump. The one saving grace of Trump and his goon squad is that they’re too incompetent and self-serving to really take advantage of the fascist whirlwind they’ve whipped up. And I think Pete is a CIA plant.
If it’s Bloomberg and Trump, I hope Trump wins. Donald Trump has broken the government and our country. To allow a competent fascist like Bloomberg to be President afterwards would be the death knell of America.
But then again I suppose it’s going to happen eventually given the state of America. That’s the end game of Donald Trumps time in office. New Zealand is looking nice.

I have to ask because I am confused by something. With all of the good things that are happening in our country right now, why would you vote for someone (any Democrat) that would reverse the course of the economy and jobs? Do you want higher unemployment again? More people on welfare again? More businesses struggling again? A wide open southern border again?
Please help me understand why anyone would want our country going backwards.

Interesting take.
Out of curiosity, what do you think Bernie is too centrist on?

And it's obvious it's all they got, every Democratic president in the past their viability was a given by now.
This is their only hope, use his millions to influence congressional and senate votes. It appears the DNC learned nothing from the last election.

You are probably right biden is there purely for distraction...
Kinda like Hillary the year Obama got elected, BUT there is nobody in the current crop of candidates (maybe Yang but that's another issue) with the charisma to pull it off. (imo obviously)
I honestly think this years crop for the DNC is kinda like the RNC going with Mccain and then Mittens, yea possible but if they flop no real loss to us.

Because all these things you’re talking about are lies or misrepresentations. Our deficit is soaring more than ever, and I hate to break it to you but the stock market isn’t “the economy” or even a valid representation of it. That’s basic, college course economics.
What’s the use of millions of extra jobs when a person can barely pay rent and bills with three of them? You all that are seeing these economic advantages of the Trump administration are being hoodwinked. You’re looking at the wrong indicators, because that’s what you’re being fed by the government.
You’re talking about believing fully what one of the most notoriously corrupt politicians in the history of America tells you. A man so corrupt he was banned from having charities in New York State because he was stealing money that was supposed to go to children with cancer. Who recently got fined $2 million for corrupt use of another charity involving veterans.
If a majority of America is so mentally decrepit they accept what a person like that tells them without question, maybe America needs to go down in flames.
Again, New Zealand looks nice.
You need to actually get out and see what's going on, see the enthusiasm and confidence the rest of us have.
Wow. What jaded you so badly?

Enthusiasm and confidence don’t pay my electric bill.
Wow. What jaded you so badly?
I’m not jaded, that’s just the reality of this country. You can’t begin to fix something until you can be honest about what’s wrong with it. And by paying lip service to the government spiel about how great things are going when most people are one medical emergency away from being bankrupt you move even further from that.
Donald Trump tells you what you want to hear. No matter the subject, no matter the stakes.
Look deeper.
Democratic Superdelegate Rule Changes for 2020
Unpledged delegates, better known as superdelegates* will make up about 16% of Democratic Party delegates in 2020. These party insiders are part of each state's delegation, but are not committed to vote based on the outcome of the state's primary or caucus. This has caused considerable friction over the years. This came to a head in 2016 when many superdelegates announced early support for Hillary Clinton, creating the perception that the party was putting its thumb on the scale in her favor against Bernie Sanders.
All delegates become unpledged, with an estimated 771 superdelegate votes coming into play if the convention is contested (i.e., more than one ballot is needed to select a nominee). For those subsequent ballots, a majority of all 4,750 delegates (2,375.5) will be needed to secure the nomination. Given the large field, front-loaded calendar and the party's proportional allocation process, a contested convention can't be ruled out.
