The World Health Organization most likely have the best research and medical teams in the world.
Just sayin
No.
The CDC does (and other developed world labs).
Imagine what they could do with the money WASTED on the WHO and the UN.

I'm not sure based on your knowledge of world affairs you are qualified to make such a large decision like abolish the United nations.

S+F! But one question... As compromised as the UN may be, what replaces it? Will countries collaborate in a timely manner without an arbitrator? And won't any replacement for the UN be as vulnerable to systemic faults and corruption.
Not criticising your stance, just calling out the impossible dilemma it reveals.
If only there was someone we could trust..! Maybe your favourite politico Corbyn could head it up (sarcasm)

Your link doesn't work, the second talks about reforms after the apparent disaster the Ebola outbreak was.
Yeah I remember the Ebola outbreak, a lot of Americans needlessly panicking, the distrust from those getting treatment. Under the circumstances the Ebola outbreak was handled well... It's hard to treat people who are superstitious and paranoid about the medicine you're giving them to save their life.
Oh and when do China ever play ball? China probably played it the way they did so it looks like it's somewhat cooperating with the rest of the world. Because we would close them down if a pandemic started flooding over it's borders.
Do your research and don't let MSM do it for you. They will hype up any potential disaster especially if you're watching American news. It gets people emotional, angry and distressed... That means more views and a "hot topic" for the people.

Just an update. Who officials started touring China today. They don't even plan on going to Wuhan.
They're praising Chinese efforts while they don't even go to the epicenter. Looks like theater to me, one designed to keep things low key for the time being.

It wasn't handled well... In western Africa.
But I guess they shouldn't have bothered, allowed Ebola to run rampant in lands where most people don't have an education, are very superstitious and have a distrust of "white man" I'm simplifying that last bit but it's true nonetheless.
You've got a hard on for the UN and WHO, I get that. You have nothing to replace them and frankly I feel you're ignorant of the accomplishments achieved by such organisations.
Or you can go to places the likes of WHO operate and get a real view of what they do and achieve.

It is no longer a fringe or conspiracy site theory.
Mainstream news : The UN's World Health Organisation along with its' leader, "doctor" Tedros Adhanom, are now accused in the MSM of delaying the WHO's response to the coronavirus outbreak:
www.news.com.au... 07
“(The agency) has great difficulty in being openly critical of a member state...."
So, essentially, the WHO's only role is that of a political puppet, paid for by Western taxpayers
And this is AFTER reforms Adhanom had assured would be made after the deadly outbreak of ebola, FIVE years ago.
www.worldpoliticsreview.com...
NOTHING has changed.
Just more proof that the WHO, and the UN as a whole are completely USELESS and UNFIXABLE.
This should serve as a wake up call to those/leftists that keep bringing up the "UN" as a "model"
IT is clear - the UN is a lost cause.
Use of the taxpayer money is better served by spending it directly in each of the member countries
But now it is even worse than mere money.
MORE people will DIE because of the UN's WHO politically delayed response !!
UN causes MORE * dead * people.
DEAD!
No UN = LESS dead people.
ABOLISH THE UN!
NOW!

I mentioned this before, but on Japanese TV they even said he was bought and paid for by the Chinese. NO ONE believes a word coming out of his mouth. Everyone was actually laughing on TV about him. That's sad.
But the WHO org. is really tops in what they do. Just the leader of it is getting thrashed at the moment.

Have you considered the possibility, that the UN and WHO are doing exactly what they were intended to do ?
Killing people, stealing and general human misery.... on purpose....possible....some "leaders" are so messed up....
