So... Still zero in Indonesia...??
Doesn't make any sense at all

If this thing is as lethal as some say, we'll know if half the population falls over dead in a few months.

If this does begin to get out of hand. I can see the UK military med assets being stepped up and used. Much the same way as 5 Med Regt RAMC deployed to help with the Ebola crisis in 2014. When that happens you know it's going pear shaped.

Yeah and that Japan one is wrong, apparently there are 85 there now.

If you add the Others: 61 to Japan's 24 you get 85. I bet the 61 is from the cruise ship.

Well spotted.

I wondered where the cruise ship cases would get counted too. We know there are several from various countries, but it seems that they aren't being added to any of those countries tallies.

Could be the tally at the top that says Others: 61

Ah, yes, you're right. I wondered what the title 'others' was for. If it keeps changing to match the #'s being reported from the cruise liners we'll know. Still boggles my mind how they just let them all off the cruise ship in NJ and rolled the two suspected persons away without any kind of protective gear. SMH.

bnonews.com...

Is anyone paying attention to the numbers on the BNO site? Because in Hubei there are over 800 in CRITICAL condition.

From a terror attack point of view I'm pointing at the climate activists, china being taken down would give us decades of extra time to sort the rest of the world out before it's to late

Just thinking outside the box here (well not really I'm copying 12 monkeys), but if you werea bioterrorist, and you managed to get your hands on something like this - wouldn't you travel around and launch it in as many countries as possible, rather than pick one where they WILL shut down cities and God knows what?

Would China even be the best place to launch it?

I think China would be agood spot because of all the travel in and out and the huge population to get it started spreading.

But yeah, those stats don't look good. I guess in another week, we'll know if the sh@@ has really HTF

I was thinking there are other places equally densley populated with poor sanitation etc like India.

But I suppose it's only China that has (the largest migration on earth of) hundreds of millions of people travelling here, there and eveywhere for their new year.

So timing and location is a bit suspect I suppose.

Definitely. I forgot al about the chinese new year whilst posting on this thread! best time of year to get this virus spreading

Yeah, India. If somebody (human or otherwise) wanted to reduce Earth's population quickly via disease, India would probably the best starting-point - assuming you could not just disperse it everywhere, or you wanted to make it look like a natural out-break.

I'm sorry to these people, but I started laughing right away because the first thing that popped into my mind was that lady spinning and spinning! I will never forget that! Glad I'm not the only one Power_Semi!

I posted about Indonesia this morning. See below.

Yesterday, I posted my concern with some countries not reporting any cases at all (Laos, North Korea). The link below digs into another country that had me concerned: Indonesia

Indonesia is not reporting cases, nor even testing for them

They have not even tested the 238 people that came directly from Wuhan. This article covers Cambodia and Thailand as well. I had a bad feeling about the low numbers from some of those countries, and now it is being justified.

For context, Indonesia has roughly 265 million residents (2/3 of the USA population), and is surrounded by active cases.

I felt really bad for her but couldn't help but laugh too.

My mother is terrible, I think it's like a nervous affliction / response to shock, but something happens to someone else and she's creased up on the floor wetting herself.

Her sister, my auntie was once viisitng and she slipped and fell down the stairs. She's crumpled up in a heap moaning and groaning and my mother - in a heap at the side of her laughing hysterically.

It's funny unless you're the one who fell down the stairs.

Oh man, I know! That was awful to watch. I just heard recently that the 74 year old woman filed a $2 million suit against the City of Phoenix over that helicopter spin, due to long-lasting problems that she's having as a result it.

This was my husband's first thought. I don't think the US would risk the disruption to our economy. But a lone wacko or small group of wackos could make this happen and the almost perfect timing is suspicious.

I don't blame her really....that was poorly executed. She was lucky she didn't die.

A lot of western corporations in pretty much every industry invested heavily in China. If they take any action that makes it look like the virus is a concern they could be thrown out of China for giving them a bad image.

Personally I would label such corporations with such investments in China as hostile foreign collaborators, but hey-ho. Money > people.

Absolutely TRUE!
Gave you a star.

Timing and Location. Location, location, location

In other words location is everything.

I’ve seen multiple references to 28 days later, in many different read-between-the-lines and nuanced forms here

I recall the beginning amongst the most horrific parts...

Soup for thought

Bonus: you guys DO know that lab’s symbol, RIIIGHT?
