Exactly, you see the true intentions!

Yup, they are not discussing the methods, instead they are trying to kill the character.

Wow, so Canada does not have basic human rights then. Freedom of speech and the press is sacrosanct and any country that does not have it, can't be called free by any stretch.

My opinion of Canada just took an extreme downturn. It's leader can censor speech that is negative about them. Wow!

Nope, my "whole" existence is not limited to any one particular view. My comment is based on what is being played out right now in both Canada and in the US. What's pathetic, is that there are people who refuse to believe that the "Left" are the ones who embody socialism, communism and now fascism. So why would this be a "narrow view of the world" if this is true, based on their actions? Read the headlines much? Well I do and I stand by my comment.

The author of this article "nails" it back in 2015:

In all leftist extremes, be it communism, Nazism, socialism, or Fascism; murder, violence, and censorship are sure to be the eventual outcome of huge government.

Whatever the case, one should keep in mind that socialism, communism, fascism, and Nazism all are of the left; they were just different factions of the left. What is occurring in the U.S. today is not that different from what occurred in Europe some years ago.

Allow this article to be a possible warning sign of modern day ideology, as their quest will devolve into a loss of civility and violence as we move farther and farther left. As the left ideologies become more and more resembling a preacher preaching piety from the pulpit, “action” will be the next conclusive step.

His book is all ready a best seller. It wasn't censored in any way. It never can be at this point. It doesn't change the fact that he's a discord agent using "the government doesn't want you to hear this" propaganda to further divisive politics. It just proves how effective that type of propaganda is.

Did you read the letter and did see the vid?

Talking about conversations.. I tried to have a conversation, You attacked the person instead of the system first. And now start condescending me.
Let me suggest you should stay out of real conversations.

But i get it, you are oké with these kind of procedures. Have a nice day.

All I can say on our "justice system" in Canada is..

F#ck Canada
F#ck the RCMP
F#ck the Liberal party

And I pray to God that Justin Turdeau contracts the Coronavirus and takes a dirt nap.

This Country is assbackwards when it comes to the "law". And the RCMP do nothing about criminals and that INCLUDES Trudeau. I usually end up taking matters into my own hands when it comes to thieves and trespassers, but you know what? my methods work and I never see them again.

Well we did dodge a bullet from the corrupt PC party ... Sheer was caught using campaign money for his kids private school and good ol' Dougy picked a fight with unions, and health care. Oops.

Trudeau will most likely not be in the next election. Doesn't matter how well the government is running people get angry at something and blame the current admin, same thing happened to Wynn.

Leftist ideals have caused all major suffering of mankind throughout history.

This isn't surprising.

The west coast needs to be addressed, the liberals proposing a new immigration system might help with the influx of random Chinese immigrants buying up land and houses, but that still doesn't fix the banana republic of the oil and lumber provinces.

The feds are doing some good work, people just hate Trudeau and only focus on him. They did dig us out of a trade war, which had a direct effect on me (although the US just put a 6.7% tariff on fabricated steel going into the US, but doesn't matter real estate magnates just pay the tax).

"This kind of procedure" is just by far not the worst I have seen, that's why I find it truly amusing it's disturbing to you and prompts others to talk about Nazi methods.
They didn't waterboard him, electroshock his balls, lock him in a cage for days and weeks without food, water and sleep.
If you someday leave your safe space and venture out in the real world you're in for a big surprise.

But I see myself out now, because this # is just too pathetic

Since when has anyone considered that misogynist scumbag Roosh Valizadeh, as an intelligent political pundit ?

That website beckons us into political and social divisiveness, when many have already risen above such BS.

Left and right, are just two heads of the same snake.
It's the body we should be looking at, and not arguing over which head is 'better'.

This thread is about political BS, but it's only the current 'boss' and his party that ordered-up the investigation.
If it was the Conservatives, they may have done the same thing, because the real problems are beyond the party level.

Same as in the US, and everywhere else.
Divided: we are weak.
If we are weak, then how can an individual be strong ?

Have no problem with the author calling-out the Trudeau Liberals, but is he supporting another party ?
Does he and his company not also have an agenda ?
If so: then he is just another divider.

Rise above.

Disclaimer: didn't read the book, and didn't vote in the election.

The reason he's being questioned is because he spent over $500.00 making signs promoting his book The Libranos (my oen mother has one in her yard) that looked like election signs and put them up during an election, which contravenes Canadas elections act. It has nothing really to do with his book.

that rat bastard. perhaps he should hang.

If he is a disgusting person just like Alex Jones, it irrelevant. If you can't criticize politicians during an election, then Canada does not have basic human rights.

Not being able to criticize leaders, even if you are wrong, is the hallmark of authoritarian states not free democracies.

Were I a Canadian I'd be really concerned.

It's speech you don't like that needs defense most of all. It's very, very easy to promote the freedom to say what you agree with and only what you agree with and then say that everyone who agrees with you has somehow "transcended", but that's bull.

People who are free to think and come to their own conclusions will always have a certain number of different opinions. If everyone is thinking the same, someone isn't thinking (paraphrasing Patton there).

But the thing about this is... is no one is censoring this man. He wrote a best selling book. Tons of people support him. He's a regular guest on political talk shows, and writes pieces for major newspapers.

He's just spinning this to make it look like he's being punished for talking about Trudeau. Half of the country doesn't like Trudeau, no one is being punished for that.

Elections Canada has an issue with him because he fundraised more than $500.00 during an election period to put up materials that made it seem that he fronted a political party, which he doesn't.

So theyre wondering why he didnt register as a political party if he wanted to participate in electoral advertising. Electoral advertising is protected, just the same as it is in the US, because citizens have the right to clearly see who is running in an election.

Would most Canadians have been confused by the signs? No, I don't think so, but it still goes against the elections act, and Ezra Levant isn't stupid, so I feel he probably knew that.
