Come on ya bunch of panty waist pansies! If we survived through bush, Clinton, Reagan, Bush, Obama, and now trump, I’m sure the nation will survive a sanders or a Cortez. To be honest, the deep state largely keeps every president from diverting from the plan, so each is really only allowed to make minimal changes. It’s clear there’s a lot of stuff trump wanted to do, but when he tried they slapped his chubby tiny hands with their ruler, and put him in his place. No reason to expect it would be drastically different with either of them.

Just to add, I’m glad y’all are so happy with the state of the union today. The trends we are following are exactly what the unelected shadow govt would have them be, so we can all expect it to continue in the path that it’s been on for decades. Less taxes, declining wages, disappearing middle class, more hours worked, service sector and financialized economy. Inflation continuing to rise. Benefits and social programs continuing to decrease. Less freedoms and more restrictions on citizens, and the opposite for corporations. Restricted speech, with 20 years and 250k minimum fine for criticizing Israel. Stocks increasing in direct proportion to standards of living decreasing. Good times!

And do y’all know why the dems are just as scared of sanders and Cortez?? Because the dems and republicans are the SAME FING PARTY!

What is the real difference between the us under a dem president and republican president? We still go to war. We still waste tons of taxpayer dollars on sht we can’t afford. We still give more and more money to corporations and less and less to the social services. We still support coups, torture,mass surveillance, patriot act, etc. The deficit continues to grow, along with the budget and the military expense.

What, are there some differences between gay rights or abortion? That’s because they don’t really care about those things. Anything involving money, or power, they line up like ants on the march.

Is life significantly different now than it was under Obama? Or bush? Or Clinton? No. Healthcare still costs a # Ton.... more than ever, really, but that’s just following the progression started decades ago. I still go to work every day, make more money than I ever have, but it all goes to the inflated home/healthcare/education prices, and requires I sacrifice the important things like time with my kids and wife, having hobbies, a social life etc.

It's not about surving a Cortez presidency. It's about the prospects of her being elected president.
It's about what we could expect in the event she did miraculously get elected president.

That's it in a nutshell. Sanders and Cortez are not part of the machine. They are Soros radical infiltrators into our system to wreck havoc, confusion, hate, distention and paralysis of our government. Excuse my ignorance but one thing is certain, they are both extreme in each of their ideologies. I don't wan't either one of them here in the US.

Everyone needs to stop focusing on aoc as a potential female president and focus on supporting Iowa Senator Joni Ernst for either POTUS or VPOTUS in the coming years. She has the leadership experience from years as a commander in the military serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. She has served her constituents well in her state, she has a level realistic head on her shoulders and she is well versed in diplomacy and other cultures from her time serving in the middle East.

Everytime someone mentions AOC in the context of female POTUS, I will always refer instead to Joni Ernst as a more viable candidate instead.

Dear god, the hyperbole. They’re just people, fighting for something they believe in, effectively too apparently.

If they get elected, it’s because the nation reached a turning point in its thinking. The world goes in cycles. There’s lots of variables. Socialism is not going to be the end or cataclysm of anything. Socialism or capitalism, we will likely make death optional in my kids or grandkids time, and we will almost certainly have the singularity within the next 50 years. Once ai is unleashed we will likely either all be dead, or will jump so far in science and technology that most things we consider problems will all be things of the past.
