Then you most definitely would hate me.
I have a tendency to say exactly what is on my mind and exactly how it is.
No "punches" pulled.
And to hell with being "PC"

Trump is an ass.
But he gets the job done, much more so than any other President in my life.
I don't have to like him personally... I honestly don't care.
It's not like I have to hang out with him on a personal level.
I have to ask though...
Why do you not put any blame on the Democratic party for the division in our country right now?
As a former Democrat all I can see is that particular party trying to tear our country apart just to try to stay in power.
They have already shown by word and deed that they care more for illegal immigrants than our own citizens.
They have shown that if we tank economically they would welcome it.
They no longer represent the majority of America.
So why no real blame there for our fractured nation?

We don't live in a democracy, we live in a republic. There's a difference.
As far as Trump goes, he reversed a lot of Obama's stifling regulations and restrictions on business which helped our economy grow. I don't see where those actions destroyed our water, land or air and the historically low unemployment for minorities and best economy in decades is a really good sign that he was right. The trade deals he said were coming are here. The national security he talked about improving has greatly improved.
I know Dems don't like any of what's going on and they want to go back to the crap we were dealing with prior to 2017, but that's because they wouldn't know their heads from their asses on a good day.
It's a republic. Yes. And Trump has reversed many of Obama's regulations. Thing is...the next president will do just the same. Trump is accomplishing nothing other than temporary nonsense.
Whether this year or 4 years (more likely) from now...this will all repeat and be undone.
Can we get a president who can make some permanent changes? Trump is not him.

If Trump could do what he is doing without all the divisiveness.
If he could just shut up and do what he is doing...I'd support him.
Is a smart Republican too much to ask for? Trump is no messiah. He isn't God. He isn't the chosen one.
Can we not have an intelligent Republican? Someone who says what he means and does what he says? Someone who loves the country more than himself?
I guess not.
Respect.

Because no criticism is ever accepted I'm gonna have to say this is like a cult here worshipping a person.
I challenge any Trump supporter to point out one single thing they don't like about him - problem is you can't because he's beyond reproach now due to the Dem's witch hunts. So you feel obligated to protect the Admin at every last turn. This is how cult worship forms. Same thing happened to Obama's followers, they can't find it in them to criticize dear leader.... Ever.
You realize this same thing has been said many times on these forums and all it does is show you are completely out of touch with reality.
There is no cult of trump. Nobody thinks he is flawless and does no wrong. You would have to be deaf dumb and blind not to see he is flawed.
As I said before I vote based on actions, and track record, not someone’s style or ability to charm.
This is a good lesson for life by the way, people lie, Thier actions don’t.

As an Independent I'm not really a Trump supporter, but I am leaning towards voting for him unless something changes.
I'll happily say bad things. He's crass, a bully and a caricature at times. He's wrong to not deal with making it easier for immigrants at the same time he's making the border more secure. He comes across as an absolute idiot at times.
He is however, the lesser of two evils.
I'd ask you point blank, do you really think the cultist nature of Hillary supporters, Bernie supporters and Warren supporters is any less bad. Or are you blind to it? Both parties are in fact cults with blind followers. Neither is any better than the other in that regard. To say otherwise is very dishonest.

I can't tolerate a liar and idiot representing me. I thought Bush was bad, and I voted for him, but I had no idea how bad it could be until Trump.

Ummm, he goes off script??? Tnat count?
We know they exist, no human is perfect and other than a status report, why point and dwell on them?
As for cults, you don't know what you're talking about.

Seems to be.
My political alliances are strongly on the Republican side. More Libertarian but...that's not a winner. The Democratic field this election year is garbage. Almost as bad as Hillary. I like Pete but he will never win. Bernie is ok but he is near to death. Amy Klobuchar is the best but she too, stands no chance.
I'm 90% certain Trump will win re-election. I can't understand why other than our much better 401k's. I feel he is great for our economy at the expense of ruining our democracy.
If Trump could do what he is doing without all the divisiveness. If he could just shut up and do what he is doing...I'd support him.

I've voted red all my life until Trump. Now I vote out of spite. That's what he has gotten me, and a lot of our country.
