You realize that of 2900 people who have had it, confirmed, 2805 are still alive...?

That's really nice at the moment. I am so glad. Bad news is that viruses mutate, really quickly. The more people have it the more likely it becomes. It's what they do.
Now maybe this one won't. Maybe it's a laid back virus that doesn't want us dead. Yay.
Not to consider the very likely fact that viruses CAN and most often WILL mutate however is a bit naive.
What else is experience for if not to repeat mistakes of the past?
I would always err on the side of caution.

I don't want to sound macabre, but I don't know how nice that is, since those alive are still able to contaminate others

Where you getting your figures?????? The media?

Yeah. I'm open to them being wrong but it's all we really have at this point. Even if I wanted to rely on ground zero reports I couldn't because they're shut down, as you poignantly noted. I'm certainly not going to believe the gellar report with sensationalized numbers that only they report.

Do you believe everything your told by the system?

No, but I also don't believe everything that is said from 'not the system' either.

Yes ? No ?

yè míng shā is a Chinese herbal medicine that is bat turds. It should be called ye ming shat.

Butt seriously, WTF China?

Some of the Coronaviruses found in bats were sampled from anal swabs, showing that the virus passes through the gastointestinal tract.
Here's some for sale on Amazon uk www.amazon.co.uk...

Don't consume bat turds, this has been an ATS community health announcement.

Lead researcher and dean of HKU’s faculty of medicine Gabriel Leung

Leung said his team’s research showed self-sustaining human-to-human transmission was already happening in all major mainland cities and warned that a pandemic may be close. “We have to be prepared, that this particular epidemic may be about to become a global epidemic,” he said.

The above link is very important. Needs to be highlighted and discussed.

Yesterday I posted that there were two suspected cases of the virus in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In fact, so far only one case is suspected.

I heard somewhere a few days ago that the exact virus loose in China was discovered by Chinese military scientists in 2018, isolated from a bat. It has likely sent to, contained within and worked on at the level 4 lab in Wuhan. I am awaiting further information from my son’s friend, but nothing new for over 24hrs now. a reply to: weirdguy

The closest DNA match for the 2019-ncov is Bat SARS-like coronavirus isolate bat-SL-CoVZC45. It has a 95% match and it's DNA was sequenced and submitted to the gene database by a Chinese military hospital/ university, on 05-JAN-2018.
The genome can be found at this link. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

The genome for 2019ncov also called Wuhan-Hu-1 was submitted to the gene database on 05-JAN-2020, by the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center & School of Public Health. And also submitted on 17-JAN-2020, by National Center for Biotechnology Information, USA. The genome can be found at this link. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov...

This is not a biological weapon, numerous genetic labs around the world have DNA samples and/or copies to help develop vaccines and assays. If I was going to weaponise a virus it would be Ebola or Influenza.

You might, yes. How do you explain the mass panic in China and the relocation of more or less the entire top brass of the CCP to an island designed for government continuity in a time of crisis. This is not normal behaviour and suggests something more than just a virulent cold. Add in the fact that the Chinese measures are going to massively impact their economy and I think we are looking at something a little different here.

If it's a bio weapon it's genome would not be available to the general public.
It's quite obvious that the virus origin is from a natural reservoir, bats.
The mass panic is because it's out of control and I totally agree that it's going to be bad.

Not alive, but they are organic, they’re basically a protein covered syringe that injects genetic material into a cell that hijacks systems inside the cell to produce more virus, cell blows up and virus spreads.

The high error rate in their genetic rewrite during copying of their RNA is what makes mutations occur so rapidly, both good and bad. Virulent strains will out compete the less harmful strains. They can also mutate to compete with drug use and survivability.

We use forms of lentivirus, a less harmful retrovirus like HIV, to inject genes into cells as a form of gene therapy to treat disease.

Yeah, that's right, they're not alive really. That wasn't the proper way to put it, mb. Once they infect a host cell they're living, up until that point they are not.

A bio weapon would spread easily, have a high R0, be able to infect with just a single digit number of virions, it’s outer shell would be extremely resilient. Plus treatments would be ineffective with a higher rate of septic shock or a cytokine release as the infection shuts down immune system signals toward the end of an infection.

More people would be sick if it was a bio weapon in other nations, they’re created to spread from a handful of patients.

Of course it could be zombies, at least that would explain the two zombie apocalypse training scenarios we did during some annual training sessions, nothing like patients and enemy combatants waking back up with attitude after they’re dead.

According to Ontario.ca there is one confirmed case and 9 under investigation. Yet I heard, as well, there were two confirmed cases. How long do lab results take?

Couple of things,

Quite possible the company owned Soros has locations around China. Companies only need to list 1 HQ location in Chinese business registries. Business operations are siloed in China. Means when you have a bank account in one province you only get counter service in that province, you can use ATM across country for a fee but no counter service coz different businesses is one example. Possible that he has locations in Wuhan, etc

China’s CCP is about control, but I disagree with the comment about economy. To do something this drastic is about control, damaging the economy like this endangers that control, they’ve bragged for years about the economic improvement. It’s a cornerstone of their control program. They would not risk economic damage on this scale unless they were scared to all get out. And their economy has been weak for 2 years, it’s not like making stuff to fight off a virus is going to fix that.

Zerohedge usually doesn’t single source stories unless they trust and know the source. However in this case they should have. Tyler should have noted that or provided more support. I still personally feel this virus has a lot to do with that bio disease facility. Most of my feeling comes from the scale of the reaction and my having lived in China for that long

I could see an accidental release of a virulent strain modified in the lab, just not a weapons grade disease. The Chinese specialize in information, trade and control. They have so many agreements with other nations through the road and belt initiative and other agreements, it would be difficult to bring in allies in a conflict against them.

A bio-weapon makes them lose all of that. Human being an idiot in a lab and afraid of reporting it in that environment, now that’s very possible. People are afraid to report stuff over here.

Who writes zero hedge articles, a bunch of people under the name Tyler? They have interesting information but the comments section are a red flag to me.
