So far, we've not heard of any transmission beyond that case of human to human in the US. That can and likely will change. But we've also not heard of serious illnesses or critical ones either in any of the domestic cases.

I see your confusion on this. I looked into it and you are concerned about the oxygen absorption at 60 ghz. This has nothing to do with humans and is about the absorption of energy at this frequency by oxygen in the atmosphere.
This absorption makes the signals only able to travel a short range in air and has less interference from other devices in the same band. As this band is not able to penetrate the human body to any amount past the surface of the skin, I don’t see how warming up some nearby oxygen atoms in the air has to do with this possible pandemic.
Over the weekend in Hong Kong, hundreds of people queued for hours to buy masks and immune-boosting products such as vitamin C.
At a major supermarket in the bustling Wan Chai district, counters selling chilled meat and seafood were empty by mid-morning on Friday and over the weekend, with stocks of fresh vegetables dwindling.
“Everybody is really worried. I think everyone is afraid of what is going to happen in the next few days. Prices are also going to rise,” said Cindy, a retail executive who was buying dry food and soap.
Dozens of mask-wearing shoppers pushed trolleys down empty aisles showing sold-out signs for hand wash and antiseptic liquids. Others tried to stock up on remaining bags of rice and packaged noodles.
The rush to buy food and cleaning products comes as some shoppers said they were concerned that a potential shutdown of the border would impact the supply of products.
The Hong Kong government has closed some border crossings, including the high-speed rail, but has stopped short of a complete shutdown, despite growing calls from medical workers, who plan a strike on Monday to demand action.
A Chinese woman infected with the new coronavirus showed a dramatic improvement after she was treated with a cocktail of antivirals used to treat flu and HIV, Thailand
’s health ministry said on Sunday.
The 71-year-old patient tested negative for the virus 48 hours after Thai doctors administered the combination, doctor Kriengsak Attipornwanich during the ministry’s daily press briefing.
“The lab result of positive on the coronavirus turned negative in 48 hours,” Kriengsak said.
“From being exhausted before, she could sit up in bed 12 hours later.”

Let’s hope so. Personally I think the horse has bolted. But it’s good to remain positive. Dunno what the Chinese are panicking about really, it’s only the flu

Looks like this thing roughly doubles every 3 days in infection rate and deaths. Even if it just keeps on doing that prognosis is not good long-term at all.. I expect with the quarantine measures this should start to tail off soon.
SHANGHAI/HONG KONG—Investors erased $420 billion from China’s benchmark stock index on Monday, sold the yuan and dumped commodities as fears about the spreading coronavirus and its economic impact drove selling on the first day of trade in China since the Lunar New Year.
The market slide came even as the central bank poured cash in to the financial system despite apparent regulatory moves to curb selling.
By lunchtime, the benchmark Shanghai Composite index sat 8 percent lower near an almost one-year trough and poised to post its worst day in more than four years.
The yuan opened at its weakest level in 2020 and slid almost 1.2 percent, past the symbolic 7-per-dollar level, as the falls soured the mood in markets throughout Asia.

I have yet to see a single report anywhere identifying anybody as anything, other than Citizenship and the fact they are humans.
I suspect all of the reported cases are Han Chinese.
If there is anything out there that I've missed, please let me know, thanks.

Oh, that's easy to find, it has been widely reported, they're indeed sunbathing and playing cards while the days go by.

Thanks so much
Some ppl close to me keep saying that there is no proof of infections in other then Asian people. The one in the footage that is being quarantined alone is clearly white!
Glad that is the end of that debate!
