As far as I know HK airlines are still flying to US. I haven't seen anything to indicate they aren't.

It's the doctors in HK that did not go to work today, waiting to see confirmation of that.

it hasn't changed in 10 minutes - could they have stopped trading already?

As of Monday morning, at least 24 provinces, municipalities and other regions in have told businesses not to resume work before Feb. 10 at the earliest. That’s according to publicly available statements from the governments.

The drop has been stopped by a huge 15-year support on a weekly as you can see in the chart, there is clear trendline... if it breaks and closes below and the next week confirms it, then the global economy is in trouble (it already is, but this is the beginning of an end)

It sliced through all moving averages, even 100-monthly (2792), except for 200-month moving average, that's at 2598 and likely the last support. (however there are few other pivot supports left)

Expecting a bounce or consolidation of sorts, maybe even a quick ABC correction up to reset the oversold oscillators, then further down.

Under China's new circuit-breaker mechanism, moves of 7% from the previous session's close trigger a trading suspension for the day.

I would like to ask a question please, although ridiculous I’d like to find out if this virus ( which a lot people are saying it might be a bio weapon ) could possibly only target people of Asian descent/ racially Asians ? Are any of the infected people non Asian?

No this has been debunked by a Japanese bus driver getting it, some German white boys, and assumed some French folks as they just returned 20+ to France who have symptoms.

Most of that is confirmed, we only lack racial confirmation of the French folks but logically some of those 20 would have to be caucasians. That plane which brought them back also had Fins, Africans, and other Europeans on it. We'll know more I imagine soon.

they halt the market in the event of a crash, it's to prevent what happened in 1929

This is just the beginning, and they added billions in liquidity and banned short selling

No, other ethnicities have gotten it. The questions are how serious it is for those outside China as none of the cases gotten beyond China's borders have turned serious as of yet. Those cases outside China that are serious are still native Chinese who left China.
