If you watched the same video I did he called out the HIV stuff as not good science by indicating the ends only matched HIV slightly. He said 2 times that he was surprised they focused on this rather than the clearly inserted section which is what he spent most of his time on.

He should have expected it!

HIV/AIDS is the most publicized, deadliest disease in our living memory. Most of the others are from the past where really no one living has actually experienced them as anything except fiction in movies or non-fiction. Not even Ebola is as scary.

HIV is the disease that infects you. You don't know you have it. You slowly die because your body can't defend itself.

Telling anyone that something is "like HIV" is opening the doors to mass hysteria because we've all been so conditioned to fear it.

Google Scholar is your friend. There are conflicting reports and obviously
a lack of transparent large scale long term studies on the subject to give a definitive answer.

Which is why some speculate Wuhan is the live experiment happening as we speak.

Contagion from 2011 is as close as it gets to Wuhan Coronavirus in the motion picture industry. Also, one of the few "virus/pandemic/apocalypse" movies with triple A actors.
It's obviously fiction + reality so not everything works like that in real life indeed, however, it's a good depiction at what's happening in crisis centres, the management of the situation... the political decisions around it, lies, covering, fear... and the panic/disorder that sets in.

Most people in this thread have already seen it, but I'd suggest watch if you haven't. It's one of the best in the genre.

It is. As I said previously they prefab living quarters for workers out of those. Easy pop up building or complexes. Just need plumbing and power.
