We have a president who is willing to shut off the flow of immigration to the highly suspect and to curb illegal immigration. It's not surprise he's willing to allow people returning from zones with a new contagious disease to be kept under mandatory quarantine.

The video of the body bags and father dead in hospital was taken by a citizen journalist named Fang Bin. He was arrested and suddenly let go with no explanation. There’s video of him going up on Twitter and WeChat now. It could be propaganda though.

Rumors circulating on WeChat and starting on Twitter that a camp full of Uyghur people got the virus.

I’m taking first as propaganda and second as rumor for the moment.

I'm talking about China only and am using BNO for numbers - don't know where wiki got that number or how accurate it is.

Yes probably whatever todays number is plus around 2200 for confirmed cases, and say plus 50-55 for deaths.

I figured for today they'd add c.2100 but would want to keep it under 14,000.

For deaths another 40odd but to make it believable just over 300.

So one under, one over.

If the confirmed cases look like they're slowing down (breaking the exponential) then it looks like they have it under control and I'm sure that will be the a political statement from China very soon.

Plus they can't physically test more than c.2200 per day.

I think many are going unreported, so the figures are wrong.
