We have a president who is willing to shut off the flow of immigration to the highly suspect and to curb illegal immigration. It's not surprise he's willing to allow people returning from zones with a new contagious disease to be kept under mandatory quarantine.

What do we predict the "official" numbers will be for China later?
They seem to me have reached the capacity for tsting so numbers aren't climbing as much.
I predict they'll say 13,972 confirmed and 305 dead - or there abouts.

Currently 13,781 and 304 - there was a logic to my prediction.

You gotta be kidding me!!! ☠💣
* China reported an outbreak of a highly pathogenic strain of H5N1 bird flu at a farm in Shaoyang city of the southern province of Hunan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said on Saturday.
* The case occurred on a farm with 7,850 chickens, 4,500 of which have died of the bird flu.

Well on the basis that the mayor of Wuhan said on Tuesday that they can't do many more than 300 tests per day it's not an assumption at all. It is a fact.
And on that factual basis the fact that the numbers of confirmed cases is static at about 2000 - 2100 per day means it's pretty much a fact that the real numbers are in fact much higher and following the projections rather than the "official" numbers.

If they can only test 300 per day: then how do they get the 2000 new confirmed cases per day ?

That's intriguing. What's your prediction for tomorrow?
(Same leveled off and seemingly controlled increase rate for both?)
