I've been asked to prepare an email to send around advising people of how to best go about your day to day activities and maintaining vigilance.

Here's some of the tips I'm putting in it.

If anyone has any idea's on other good steps, please let me know.. im googling as we speak

1. Keep your distance from people – at least 1 meter where possible
2. If you are sick – stay home
3. Carry anti-bacterial wipes in your purse/pocket and use them regularly
4. Keep anti-bacterial wipes in your office. Use them on your hands/keyboard/mouse several times a day
5. If you touch elevator buttons/door handles/shop counters – wash your hands as soon as possible
6. If anyone in your house gets infected – isolate them in a separate room
7. If anyone in your house gets infected – give each person 1 towel – name it – and never touch another person's towel – wash your towels every 2 days

It’s obvious there will be economic hardships for China and particularly the Wuhan area.

I don’t think it's good or wise to be saying this misfortune will benefit anybody.

Try to carry out shopping errands as little as possible and at times when others are not likely to. Helps you avoid contact.

Hopefully everyone knows that it's only 7 am in China.. people are just getting up.

Yes, its 8:30 am here in Tokyo and the news is full of news. I won't post the latest updates till the wife gives me the newest of the news which would be about 10 am our time.

Good advice

2. If you are sick – stay home

This certainly applies to me. I have a Chinese doctor who has mainly Chinese patients!

It seems like they are planning for the long term, but that is going to come to late. Are they actually building a hospital structure?? Are they the typical emergency blow up tents? Those emergency tent pods are actually quite effective and comfortable with heated blowers, easier to connect one to another, They have zip up magnetic entrances for protocol containment and easy to setup doctor gowning clean up wash area's. Air can be pumped in and pumped out circulated through scrubbers. I am really surprised they are not equipped with all that. If they don't have them, then maybe they should get on the horn and ask for support for these things and quit screwing around wasting time.

If China reports it is down to 5%, then it's in actuality down to 3.8 or less...
They've overstated their GDP by at least 30% for years

Antibacterial wipes are great for bacteria. Coronavirus is a virus.

Washing hands and wipes could potentially remove any lingering virus from surfaces, but won't do anything to kill a virus.

I am genuinely asking for a friend...can somebody confirm with a link that there has been no deaths in the US please?
I am in the UK and I can't post the 'screen capture' that my friend sent to me which says there have been 6 deaths in US.
Thank you

Sounds good. The airborne part of people here in Asia, we do have a big problem of spitting . Some cultures more than others. Japanese people usually don't spit, but we have over 2 million visitors a month and from all cultures.

Its almost now mandatory to were mask while venturing outdoors. And its cold now so the flu can really hit hard.

Everything they say about him is that he's in stable condition. If this acts like viral bronchitis, he will be sick for a few weeks no matter what.

Excuse me if I am wrong but isn't it higher? I feel like it was 6 a couple days ago, and that there were posts on here with more people?

Like the lady that infected her husband?

Maybe I'm way off base forgive me if I am wrong.
