Fears over the coronavirus outbreak are forcing Google to close its offices in all of China, including Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Tech website The Verge reported Wednesday that the offices have been closed for the Lunar New Year but will remain closed until further noticeremain closed until further notice. According to Google's website, the search giant has offices in Bejing, Shenzen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong on the mainland, and the island of Taiwan has five other offices.

World Health Organization Chief Blames ‘Human Error’ on Calling Coronavirus Threat ‘Moderate’
“WHO deeply regrets the error in this week’s situation report, which inserted the word ‘moderate’ inaccurately in the #coronavirus global risk assessment,” Ghebreyesus wrote on Twitter Wednesday. “This was a human error in preparing the report. I have repeatedly stated the high risk of the outbreak.”
