I've figured this thing is in USA well before they even announced it.

Has anyone ever watched "Contagion" ? I have a feeling its going to be a lot like that - Just, ya'know, less death.

I'm sure it's already in Canada with all these dirty immigrants that they opened the flood gate to.

F#$king Trudeau.

It will spread to most cities worldwide given the infostructure and transportation hubs we have in place.

This one is going to be bad. If this is really in Texas then 1) China lies 2) this is a VERY virulent strain

Why?

For all you know the man in question came straight back from Wuhan after picking up a connecting flight in LA (or wherever the Wuhan flight lands in the US). He may not have come into contact with a whole chain of cross-country contagion at all.

I was listening to some expert on the radio on diseases. He said more people die of the common cold than these outbreaks. He said we should focus more on the common cold. Something like over 60K die in the US a year from a basic cold.

College Station is the largest city in Brazos County. It is also the home of Texas A&M university. Some college student caught it, maybe?

You don't need immigrants to cause a contagion....

Just international airports. You could have a zero immigrant policy, but if your own citizens are traveling for business in international airports it wouldn't matter. Even if you had a no travel policy to China, not every country will.

A fair statement sir, I'm just looking for an outlet because Canada is going to complete sh#t due to this movement and who knows, maybe one of them will bring something even worse...

Right? I quite enjoyed it! Very well done and follows a great time-line of how it works and how they traced it. Decent story line, but I found some of the acting between the main character (the father) and the daughter to be quite bland and terrible.

I can't believe how many people are giving stars to this uneducated filth.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by now. But. Come on people.

From a pure numbers standpoint....

If you will-
600 cases and a city of 11000000

The odds of one of the 600 flying straight from wuhan?

Logic
Numbers

1)China lies
2) this is way more virulent than we thought

They have tested several people for the Coronavirus in UK thus far with fears of more potential cases.

news.sky.com...

Very bad for old people, infants, and the sick, due to the possible secondary infections that can develop down to a poor or impaired immune system.

Coronavirus will travel all over the planet just like any other flu-type ailment, and anywhere there are people connected to our transport grids.

The danger lies in the fact that we don't seem to have encountered this particular strain before, hence our autoimmune systems are all over the place.
