Amazing. Must be the first time in history a govt has admitted to making a mistake. At any rate, it’s not like Iran is alone in mistakes. We generally have more friendly fire casualties than losses from enemy combatants. When I was stationed with the British special forces I recall them commenting to me that they never wanted to go ahead of us troops because we have so much friendly fire.
And, a close friend of mine was in a tank division. He told me the story about when his whole division was in a line going into Iraq. He was in the middle. And he watched as they started taking fire and every tank in his division except his was destroyed. He and his tank were the only ones who survived, and it was friendly fire.

New footage. CCTV with the incorrect date but that is not uncommon.

The footage does appear to match up with 2 missile launches and then the fireball of the aircraft as it makes its turn.
