Ukrainian 737 down in Iran

A Ukrainian 737-800 has crashed in Tehran shortly after take off no word on any survivors. But the cause seems to be a technical one and not related so far to anything that's been going on. News has just broken here.

Its been up for a bit and there is some video but I can't find the raw image without some nutter butter talking over it

Im watchign the video on twitter and it looks like an engine issue / fire more than a missile strike but its not great footage

Weirdest Crash I've seen. At first it looked like a slowmotion meteor. Then it hovered for 3 seconds, then fell straight down to the ground and exploded. Sad to watch 180 adults and children die like that.

Yeah no there will be no survivors and hopefully there were few people on the ground.

Thats the video I watched and yes it starts late but that looks like an engine fire or wing. And when The Malaysian Airlines FLight 17 was hit in the Ukraine it did not go on flying that long.

I don't think it was shot down

Why there were flights in and out of Iran during hostilities boggles the mind.

Probably just the angle it was recorded from. Most likely they were trying to get back to the airport and then lost structural integrity and the ability to stay in the air.

It did look odd but I think there was a hill/berm that makes it look that way but its hard to tell

But why is he filming a random plane in the first place, that just happens to crash?

Most likely he saw it on fire??

I wonder if anyone of political power was on that plane...pretty hard to believe it's a coincidence...apparently it was headed to the capital of Ukraine...sounds like very little survivors...so sad.

I could only watch it twice. Very sad to imagine the emotions onboard during those moments.

I'm sure the people onboard were thanking their lucky stars that they got out, before America retaliated on Iran.
