The title pretty much sums up my grievance here.
I've been in the military for going on close to 20 yrs, and I still don't have a laser gun.
I got to work with some DARPA guys about 10 yrs ago and they told me they have them, but the manufacturing cost to mass produce them for the military
was still way too high.
But come on, with all the advances in technology, production, additive manufacturing... we should be able to field some fricken laser guns.
I've been lucky in that my body hasn't started falling apart yet, so I'll be able to remain on active duty well beyond 20 years. But I'm passed the
half way point and am running out of time.
Is it too much to ask to get a fricken laser gun?!
