Excellent yes it could be. Think about it. Nothing really changes until the older generations die off. Same for elections. Now I am all for the environment and it does get trashed and I hate deforestation, plastic and on and on. But their push seems way too disingenuous as in must stop right know. It could be, Places like Sweden have a great deal to gain from global warming. They know this, they also know that global warming will make other region essentially uninhabitable. Regardless of if humans are responsible, they know what's coming down the pipe. As the initial experiments meeting the obligations of the geneva convention are not going very well, they need "stronger magic". Perhaps thee logic is, it's better to tax people now, and send aid to drought and famine stricken regions, than deal will an influx of refugees. Very unpalatable political message to spin into a coherent narrative that doesn't create a panic.

Either that, or they want to wipe out the middle class because the somehow see value in a high Gini coefficient, which seems counter intuitive.

I'm pretty sure there are some "evil" genius's out there thinking they are acting with good intentions.

I think Greta is a Soros paid distraction to confuse the public and dilute the news cycle, as is Antifa. Once Soros is taken down and all assets used to foment rebellion are seized, many of these distractions will go away.

Maybe the problem is that young people have too many options. Growing up I had one option. Do as I was told or there would be punishment. My only option was deciding if the infraction was worth the punishment.

There were consequences and every second of my day was rationed. I was the oldest of ten children so I cherished my free time and usually spent it reading and dreaming. Children today's most common declaration is, "I am bored". They are bored not because there is nothing for them to do, they are bored because they have too many choices. We thought it was hard to choose between vanilla or chocolate. Then came strawberry, followed by Baskin-Robbins. That boredom is a catalyst, and when paired with a cell phone and the internet, it can become a recipe for trouble.

We think we are being loving generous parents when we don't teach our children accountability, we think it is teaching them self-worth and independence when we don't teach them to respect others. When your children's minds are not mature enough to process the likely outcome of their choices and actions, they learn to believe that their choices and actions don't matter. They fail to learn respect for themselves and others.

We meant well, but we all know the old adage that speaks to where that leads us.

The "UN" is a stalking-horse for right-sided lunatics and religiously inspired nutters. If Greta is the result of their "marketing efforts" re climate change, she's doing a piss-poor job of turning out the 'cruits. The obvious answer is she has done a bang-on job of feeding the naked divide (thanks to the corporate-controlled media), which is cool cos' you can't toss your children into the flaming maw in exchange for immortality unless you've got a big ol' flaming maw of immortality to toss em' into.

The corporate media have been sliding into irrelevancy since the internet and they know they are dying. They use divide-and-conquer stories to take the rest of us with them when they go because that's what sells. The UN is a great place to have a meeting and a lousy place to get things done without cocking it all up. Look to the advertisers who sponsor the "news" you consume. Ask yourself if you want to cede your humanity to them for a team jersey and a knock-off victory.

And learn to recognize false-profits and dollar-store religion for what it is already. It's embarrassing.

I grew up in the sticks. We built our own forts, rafts and whatever. We figured stuff out. We played sports with girls at age of 5 through high school as we needed players. We never mocked or chided the girls or the Latino kids as all were equals. We played softball and kickball with the girls but not football or hockey. We had gardens and animals, both as pets and as animals. We had forests to roam along with large creeks and ponds. On foot and not in a golf cart or ATV. In my opine people have not evolved in 30,000+ years and we all have that hidden "evil" among us which now seems to be brought out via technology. I am not blaming tech but just saying it as a means just like social media. So people are aghast? Why? It was always there but now has a means of self projection as they are alone or in a group so they become rough. Its sad but we cant go back.

It's pretty clear she's being used.

Considering that theyve been using the same script that has played the masses since at least the 1950s, through the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s etc etc, all the way up to today, with some minor revisions along the way( who shall the boogeyman be this decade??).

All just to keep our eyes off the real prize and distracted as they steal the wealth from right under our noses!
