Haven't been right since. At least that is how I feel.

Back in the mid 70's , I was uprooted , and my family moved from sunny, warm South Carolina to a farm in the middle of no where in Iowa on a pig farm when I was around 13 years old.

I remember my friends in SC taking me to a pizza place across the street from the school I was going to and my best friend giving me Rock and Roll Over
album from Kiss, which we had seen in concert a few months before that together as our first concert.

I cherished that album and memories as I settled in my new home in the cold , desolate new homestead.

I don't blame my dad. Hard times had falling , and he was from Iowa , and it was his back up plan.

But , moving to such a dark, cold and isolated place,as a young teen, I started going into a dark , desolate place and began listening to Neil Young and Crazy Horse Live album that I had purchased.

At age 55 , I still reflect upon that time.

I went from the blue to the black, and never really came back....

I believe that events at certain times of our lives had bigger impacts than if those same events were to happen at other times!

The early teen years to be among having the greatest impact.
An uprooting.
A natural disaster.
The JFK murder.
9-11.
The death of a close friend or relative.

I agree. I have moved many times in my life, but of my choosing. Those were happy, exciting times.

My biggest event happened a few years back , when my wife and I agreed to a divorce, a peaceful one. But , with a catch. I could not date or see anyone for a year.

It was a done deal.

But, during one of our many arguments about the house and kids, I blurted out that I had met someone.

The wrath she unleashed was unimaginable. Even her best friends later on apologized and did not know of all the lies she had come up with.

Being homeless without a job or vehicle , living in the woods, gives you strength that you can over come this.

And I did, with the help of my love of my life.

I am so fulfilled with love and happiness now !Not to mention getting fat ! LOL !
