in the US all movies aired on TV lead with "Has been edited for content and run time".

LMAO...this is actually pretty funny. Im not sure why anyone cares. The movie kind of sucks, always has. But its within their right to edit for time and content. Im more shocked that someone actually noticed. On both sides of this argument....people need something better to do with their time than drinking haterade.

On the other hand what is wrong with you for being upset by such a trivial thing , It's Home Alone 2 for gods sake , if I were him I'd have paid for the scene to be removed.

Thats why I only skim the news and if I read anything, I take it with a huge grain of salt.

CBC is a joke as is most of our news, but so are the American media outlets, so I guess that makes us even.

Exactly. If it was for a political purpose it is pretty pathetic but if it is simply run time then fair enough. Lost track of the times iv watched it with the kids and didn't even realise Trump was in it, tbh.

Well,yes I am. CBC heavily moderates its comments section. I have been banned again (3 months) and the next ban is lifetime. The CBC is payed for by taxpayers and the Liberal government also sprinkled 600 million to other media outlets for what,I imagine, is favorable slanted news

TDS is a real thing.

CBC has a bad case of it.

The scene was never meant to be part of the movie anyways. But this was when Trump was liked before he ran for president, which severely damaged everyone’s feelings, so it wasn’t surprising they added that scene in. It was a free cameo.

Yes of course, it was top priority of the CBC executives and big wigs to ensure that Trumps cameo was deleted from one of the most average movies of all time.

I think the TDS is on the other side of the aisle this time looking for the sinister means in everything that includes that man in negative light.
