This has been coming for awhile. The Republican party "hijacked" Christianity (a particular brand of it), and began the polarization of the 2 parties into "these types of Christians" vs "Everyone else must be not-Christian if not voting Republican."

This is some Democrats identifying their own "in" to espouse their own brand of political Christianity. Its for the suckers, just as the Republican move initially was. They realized there are a lot of Christians whose beliefs don't allow them to be Democrats and a lot who don't allow them to be Republicans.

The real trick is, neither party is a great representative of Christianty - just a few focused aspects. Unfortunately, many fell for it on the R side, and now many are beginning to fall for it on the D side.

Your faith (what you believe) is the basis of all the decisions you make. I have a hard time believing Jesus would support Trump if He we're walking the earth today.

Considering the oppression/immorality of the Roman Empire and that the large portion of the problem the Jews had with Jesus was that he did not come to move specifically against the Roman overlords of the day, why would you think Jesus would do much one way or the other for or against *any* earthly politician?

If Jesus was an American, he'd definitely vote for Trump.

If anything, you just call yourself say your Jewish or Muslim for a day, and still say you support Trump. That would really screw with his logic, an rigid perceptions

Then just go to church, be forgiven then move on. It nit picky crap like this is why Church an State should be separate.
