Sorry.. once again reading too much into it. That message was deleted not because I didn’t stand behind what I said but because I really didn’t feel it was worth it to ‘debate’ this.. calmly. Then because others were speaking out, I guess I figured I should be allowed to voice my opinions and feelings as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It does feel like only the opinions and feelings of others matters at times. 😒

I've been reading Jordan Peterson's books. He's been very big on YouTube as a figure of psychology/well-being, and for standing for freedom of speech. I've found him very inspiring and encouraging. He helps you to get real with yourself and to fight to achieve your goals. A lot of people in his videos give testimony to how he has helped turn their lives around. I've been thinking of sharing him here in the Shed sometime in case anyone here finds help or inspiration in his words.

Oh, I have a dragon...Her name is "Ingrid".... Ingrid's blue eyes would see right through you P.... I wouldn't mess with her. She acknowledges my feelings in this regards because I read her stories of the Elf 'Night Star'. Night Star stories are her sustenance to sleep.

Like me and True love she is sick and tired of these 'monthly' words disparagingly lending themselves towards dishonor in regards the realm and their members. I can't ride Ingrid anymore due to age but 'True Love' and her whip can take to the clouds swiftly. Don't mess with 'Truey' and 'Ingrid'. 'Ingrid' or 'Ingy' as I call her, can't sleep.

I have my steed, 'Sure Blade'. He knows me and is gentle in the canter and gallop. We are both getting old but we are willing to stay any infringements upon this realm.

Then also I have 'Wally' and 'Clifford' Though untidy they can overcome anything. No need for concern 'P".

Look, I like your offer mate but Ingrid has not many special powers other than she can see through people. Her notional abilities are armour and beserkergang with which she perceives and uses against noctu clanculum devenit persons.

It's not pretty.

Depends on what team you follow.

Ingy's 'coat of arms' is colored Red, White and Black. Truey's Armour is White, Black Helm with Red Shield mit red whip. Can't see them happy over Adelaide Oval.

A moment ago i came back home from my friend's apartment. My wish is that i could give just 1% back of the support i have received here, shed. It would be a really big amount.

Hello everyone.
Well I have decided to offer my unsolicited and probably inarticulate and potentially misunderstood opinion.

When jacy started the Shed many years ago, it was her fantasy story of a place where she could escape the pressures of her real world.
A number of her Ats friends who spoke with her on other threads joined and added to her story.
The Shed became a group collaborative fantasy tale.

As time went on, in between contributions to the story, contributors to the thread began to relay real life events to each other.
Now for the most part, the original members were made up of folks in there late forties and quite a few a good bit older.
So their conversations tended to be relaxed and mature.

As time went on more folks joined the Shed.
There is no restriction on who can join and all are welcome.
However, in time newer members changed the atmosphere of the original Shed.
That in itself is not bad. Things evolve over time.
But as more people found this place to be where one can find a sympathetic and caring response to the venting of ones troubles, it morphed into a thread where that became more common than actually contributing to the fantasy tale.

Night Star is a loving soul that gives comfort to all who come here seeking it.
Unfortunately, many of the original members, although also loving and sympathetic, didn't have the mental stamina to continually listen to the constant daily problems of others.
They were not meant to be psychiatrists, they just wanted to write a fantasy story and share mature, adult, fellowship.
So for their own peace of mind they drifted away. (Occasionally lurking, looking to see if their old home was back.)

So, as I struggle to figure out how to gracefully come to a conclusion to my speech.
For my part, I wish (and I apologize because I don't know how to say this without offending folks.) I wish everyone would grow up. Or at least pretend to be a grown up.
A little less asking for sympathy publicly and little more fun.
Yes, fun!
Maybe I'll run for president of the Shed.

Ok I apologize for that last bit. The Shed is great.
I just wanted to prove I could be mature and a goofball at the same time.

So ends my rant.

I could tell you stories, none of them nice. So I won't. Today is Brexit Day. I'm off to celebrate shortly. The EU solved none of the problems it claimed it was able to; yet increased prices, rules and ridiculousness across the board. I'm happy to hear that my countrymen have finally unshackled themselves from a nefarious super-state.
