The local news comes on tonight and the lead story is, (of course) the imminent U.S. House impeachment of our President, Donald J. Trump.

With the vote coming tomorrow, protesters in favor of impeachment, are already rallying...in bone chilling, sub-freezing weather. Here in Chicago, and cities across the country.

Protesters rallied against President Trump in dozens of U.S. cities on Tuesday night, hours before an expected House vote to impeach him.

A group of left-wing organizations including Women's March and MoveOn were among those supporting the hundreds of rallies, dubbed "Nobody Is Above the Law."

Most of the demonstrations were slated to begin Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. local time. A website for the events said that 200,000 people planned to attend.

"The night before the House of Representatives takes a somber vote to impeach Trump, we'll head to every congressional office and public square to declare that Nobody Is Above the Law as representatives finalize their positions and senators look on," the site reads.

Protesters in Philadelphia held signs with LED lights that spelled "impeach," while protesters in New York's Times Square chanted, "No one’s above the law," The New York Times reported.

In Boston, Trump's Republican primary challenger William Weld was among hundreds of demonstrators, according to the Boston Herald.

I could somewhat understand those who supported Hillary Clinton protesting against an "unknown" like Donald J. Trump, after he beat candidate Clinton in an Electoral Vote Landslide.

But here we are 3 years later, with a better America, thanks to President Trump's administration. All Americans, either directly, or indirectly, benefit from the enhanced security, peace, and prosperity.

Also, I thought it was a foregone conclusion that President Trump is going to be impeached by the Democrat-controlled U.S. House tomorrow.

For those reasons, I was both surprised and perplexed when our local TV news showed so many nationwide Pro-Impeachment protests.

Is it logical to conclude that these protesters are, against America prosperity, or afflicted with a mental syndrome..or both?

That's cause y'all living here in the ATS righty bubble still don't realize that most Americans and the world don't like Trump and aren't feeling that "better America". They, for the most part, see a rise in most of the things wrong with America and the ugly side of human instinct at large. Constantly calling other Americans "Anti-Americans or Nutjobs or both" may tip you off, as a start though. But I''m sure you're the real victim here, as you'll soon explain.

I guess it must be people of low character and integrity. Goes back to my "mental issues" conclusion. They'd make terrible business partners, or anything else where TRUST is required.

Just study the camera angles and understand how few people were there.

It was done in rush hour so it would appear more people were present.

The video of all the people waiting in line (for trains I assume) were not protestors.

Just more and more made up fake news.

Maybe the pollsters will visit with the protesters and come out with a last moment "surprise" swing in public sentiment for Impeachment?

Hey...you're right. Reminds me of ABC News showing a Kentucky bombing range, while telling viewers it was the USA killing Kurds in Syria.

...most Americans and the world don't like Trump and aren't feeling that "better America".

The world? What does the world have to do with the American President?

I always heard that it was Americans who put far too much emphasis on America... is the world doing it too now? Did we take over the globe when I wasn't looking?

They, for the most part, see a rise in most of the things wrong with America and the ugly side of human instinct at large.

Yeah, all those terrible things like more job opportunities, more money, lower taxes, less restrictions on how people live their lives... how can people stand living under such oppression? And the real kicker? Trump declaring family leave for all government employees! Oh, the humanity! That's almost as bad as implementing prison reform!

Constantly calling other Americans "Anti-Americans or Nutjobs or both" may tip you off, as a start though.

Oh, poor baby... did that mean old word hurt you? Show me on the doll where it hurts...

But I''m sure you're the real victim here, as you'll soon explain.

You mean like you just did?

Some Trump haters have a desperate need for validation, hence they make comments like 'the whole world hates Trump'.
Rarely do they have any substantive argument, they just scream at the sky and convince themselves they are fighting the good fight and that everyone is screaming with them.

Joe Biden only had 73 people at his most recent rally. So "the world" must really hate him with a passion.

Sorry you dont like Trump. It's not a valid reason for impeachment or removal from office. I would suggest voting for your preferred candidate, that is, if one becomes available.

Your post however is perfectly in line with what Trump supporters also believe about the D leadership. Much hate and that's pretty much it.

I think their just suckers, this whole impeachment saga is a farce, it's purpose is to keep the masses engaged and focussed on dribble, while laws are passed and freedoms are lost while people argue and they don't even notice.

It's very convenient having the people on one side blame the other side for what their leaders are doing.

Most of America doesn't want Trump impeached.

The latest polling clearly says it. Even CNN's.

(CNN)A new CNN Poll of Polls finds opposition narrowly outpacing support for impeaching and removing President Donald Trump from office -- 46% believe Trump should be impeached and removed from office, 49% don't.

Happy Impeachment Day ATS

I am sorry you have been misled.
50% of americans polled want him impeached and REMOVED from office.
47% believe he has committed bribery.

These rallies across the country clearly show what america really thinks about trump.

Why aren't there any protests against the impeachment? Where are his supporters?
