The logic side in me says I am fond towards this thought because I would welcome a positive change.

My gut and memory says I thought about this in the last few weeks.

Then the logic side kicks in again and gives me examples why that can be.

I want to believe but I can not pin it down or make sense.

I've been doing a lot of reading about the two topics you mentioned above. It will happen, not if but when.
China is already almost out of water, and now they are taking water from India. The polluted waters from both places are already having a dire effect on the health of the people. They are truly at a crux. Very scary to think of the two most populous places on earth having a water war with the rest of us.

This has little to do with natural-environmental events. Those will most certainly come to fruition.

This is going to be a complete panic. Things are overvalued, none of the pricing is correct, it's fueled massive speculation and a debt bomb that has doubled since the last crisis. Global growth is slowing and central banks are starting to ease up... all of the signs are there. More debt, more spending than ever, there was a big fat band-aid put on the 2008 financial crisis and it's going to be ripped off. The low rates are artificial and totally undermine productive economic growth. Everything we have seen of late - growth, jobs, spending, etc. is all fake and it's all overstated. What's coming will be worse, very different and very much longer lasting than anything that occurred in the 20s. The FED can only keep the stock and real estate markets up for so long - it is all teetering on the edge. There is already a great divide - people will go to unimaginable lengths to not just get, but take what they need. First the money - then the resources / environment.

Stockpile your cash.
If you're an investor - buy gold. We are in the third and final phase for the gold market now.
If you're an investor with money - buy mining stocks before that bubble bursts.
If you have a 401K and are thinking about a loan, now would be the time to take it - take your money out now while it's valuable - pay yourself back in when it's low.

Everything is given and taken and bought and sold and stolen and disposed of at an alarming rate.

Anyway -

My overwhelming feeling these days is that I have already died and now I am in hell or purgatory or something similar. I look around at the world I am in and it seems foreign. The politicians have lost their minds and act like 5 yr olds.. all of them. Every tv show can't have enough gay people on them as if half the population was gay. People tatted up and pierced all over like we live on skid row. Most people appear to be rock stupid and the clencher that I was in hell was when I went to bath and bodyworks and every man in their was flamingly gay and wearing Santa hats. The 3 gay Santa's. I don't really care if people are gay but damn can't they hire 1 straight man.

They aren't going to have many powerful enemies left. If Iran is gone and Syria/Iraq have been severely weakened, what Muslim nations are left to attack them for Gog Magog? If Russia did like the Bible suggests, it'd be WWIII because the US would attack Russia in the theater at least. Turkey? Same thing; they'd be kicked out of NATO and attacked by the US.

Used to believe it when doom porn was exciting and I wanted the world as we know it to change and end, but as I've gotten older, I think it's a bunch of hogwash. It's been about to happen for 17 years and counting. Every conflict in the middle east gets the doom porners so excited.

As for time going by faster, I notice this too big time! I'm 37 now and when I was in my 20s I never gave it a thought or paid attention. Now, I (try not to) tell myself that I'm literally halfway done with my life until I pass away if I live to old age and the rest of it will be a slow physical and mental decline as I stop being "cool" and "attractive", as health problems increase and my energy/testosterone go down. It's very depressing if you let your mind go there.

Not only that but it gets worse if you think about death without an afterlife. I used to firmly believe there was a heaven and hell when I was naive and came up as a Christian. Then, I got more into some new age elements and looked at other religions concept of afterlife, even reincarnation. Somebody has to be right and yet they're all so different. The Monotheistic ones are similar and I was a Monotheist. The concept of hell went out of the window first; it's silly and makes no sense whatsoever but I wont get into why.

Then heaven became rather silly too; eternity in your own sandbox RPG where anything you imagine can be instantly created. Islam with 72 virgins for eternity; I'd get really sick of the same 72 women for eternity. Eternity is a long time, timeless. Why not create some more? Now we're onto something, except I'd get sick of sex altogether in eternity. We wont have flesh bodies or flesh desires, much less procreation tools. Sex purpose is to procreate, thats why we're designed to want it and it's pleasurable. You wont be doing it in eternity with no body, hormones, or need to advanced a species.

In bliss with God for eternity. What's bliss with no serotonin, dopamine, or a brain for that matter. Unfortunately, it may be the same as before you were born. Remember that time? That was eternity up to the point that you were conceived. I remember it quite clearly, jk. You get the point. Nobody, I repeat, nobody wants to not exist for eternity in a very short number of years from now that only have 365 days in them apiece. These elaborate ideas of existing for eternity had a root source and I believe it's from the most terrifying, depressing, and unfortunate reality in existence.

I've had those feelings a lot myself, recently... Nothing that worries me because humans have been adapting forever and will continue to adapt. The strong will survive. What I feel coming is one of two things, if not both...

1. More sightings of UFO's. More stories about them announcing their existence, or the government doing so in 2020.

2. The worst GSM in 12,500 years that's estimated to come in 2020.

Both events should be mentally and physically prepared for in the best possible way you know how. And if neither of them happen and it was all just in your head then at least you prepared and have the extra knowledge you gained by the prepping.

I have been feeling for a long while that this feels like 1939 with the way things are happening globally and people are getting restless and beginning to riot across the globe .

Being over 50 time does seem to fly these days but years ago i did witness time do some weird stuff so i place no faith in it any more but truth be told i never did believe that time was all it was cracked up to be , and i used to be able without a watch to guess what time it was during the day to within 5 minutes but not anymore .
