My thoughts on the impeachment of President Trump

Spent a lot of time on the road, so I had plenty of time to listen to the hearing and think. Which is always dangerous for me.

The democrats are wrong on this one.

Allow me to explain;

Trump said, "Have a nice day" a couple of months ago.

What most people and nations heard was, "Have a nice day" from President Trump.

Now have you ever said, "Have a nice day" and people replied, "What do you mean by that?"

Democrats are like that.

They inferred that Trump meant something different. They "inferred" that Trump meant "I am going to stab you in the face with a salad fork" when Trump said, "Have a nice day".

Wishing someone a nice day is not impeachable.

Face stabbing is. No one would argue that face-stabbing is NOT impeachable. Everyone would agree that face-stabbing is terrible.

We had 3 lawyers today testify that face-stabbing is terrible, unconstitutional, and impeachable.

The problem is, Trump never said a thing about face-stabbing.

The democrats are impeaching on what they inferred Trump meant.

Not on what he said, but what they think he meant.

That's why the 4th lawyer said it was a bad idea to impeach Trump because this was never about face-stabbing, but always about, "Have a nice day" which is not impeachable.



Imagine if we could impeach any future president based on what we think they meant, instead of what they said.

It is beyond ridiculous. We have" presumed" and now " inferred". The screeching Karlan about Barron's name was beyond the pale- she looked like a fire breathing dragon, and not a cute one.

The whole thing is a joke at this point. They are only hurting their own cause. I'd say just let em have it if they weren't costing us all so much damn time and money while not doing their job.

The astounding part is how so many people are convinced that Trump is guilty of [insert literally anything here] without evidence. It's insanity. We have to hold fast to what the rule of law is in this country now, or else we'll be heading down a dark path soon.

I've never seen in my life, such a pathetic attempt of self preservation. It's Fing morbidly disturbing beyond belief!

I' am calling out all you people who chased their high school sweet heart to college and we're denied..she moved on man!!

So let's go back to her parents house and try and plead our case. But we we're in love!!!

No one would argue that face-stabbing is NOT impeachable. Everyone would agree that face-stabbing is terrible.

I believe that face-stabbing in self defence is perfectly acceptable.

Imagine if we could impeach any future president based on what we think they meant, instead of what they said.

That’s the precedent currently being set. How can you lose on impeachment if you have made up whistleblowers, hearsay counted as evidence and don’t allow a defense.

Attempted face stabbing is still a crime, and the way Donald Trump went about it, in true illegal Trumpian fashion is below the office of the President. And a clear threat by way of precedent to the foundation of American Democracy.

If you allow partisanship to color your vision of right and wrong, what a President should have the authority to do, and whether or not it’s ok to bend the constitution like Donald Trump is doing maybe the other people aren’t the bad guys in this story.

And it seems that your (and the Dems) argument is that wrongdoing is immaterial if the investigated party is your opponent in an election. The Constitution charges the President to enforce all the laws. How can a President do so if he's not allowed to investigate?
