Slightly off topic: saw something on You-so it must be true-Tube that said new translations of a Dead Sea scroll say that Noah’s Ark was pyramid shaped. Could the first pyramid have been built around the ark to preserve it (they were really into preservation, after all).

Who ever said the Ark was a boat? Some hillbilly child molesting American pastor?

The subterranean complex at Giza is indeed Noah's Ark itself.

Found this depiction of the siege of Syracuse which supposedly was an important intellectual settlement that occurred near 212 BC.

Note the lens being used to view porn in the foreground.

This to me suggests that the evidence from over 2000 years ago includes knowledge of a catadioptric style optical system employing large polished copper mirror surfaces focused at infinite with a glass reflector "corrector" lens used for fine tuning the J* image.

ATS mods feel free to remove this post as it clearly contains a gay porn image.

Just chiming in to mention that such hieroglyphic markings have also been found inside the "air shafts," which are far too small for anyone to reach up inside and fake.

Harte

Good point and such 'marks' are found behind the limestone 'wall' in that shaft once they drilled into it.

The Sphinx was heavily robbed, explored, and modified too many times to know what the original source material was.

Those two ornate metal pins and the holes drilled for them in the GP example under discussion could have been part of a large reconstruction modification done sometime and never explained by Howass. That doesn't mean that the sacred penis crew mark wasn't original though.

Not sure what your context here is - source material? You mean the limestone it was made of or are you referring to something else?

Again - what? Are you suggesting modern folks under Hawass put them there or the AE came along dissembled the GP then put it back together with a few ochre marks added?

Such marks are not uncommon on AE ruins and tombs.

The Great Pyramid has been the source of inspiration in many medieval and renaissance artworks.
Good example is the cracked Sarcophagus and robed figures used in Botticelli's divine comedy painting circa 1445.
The point is that the interior of the great pyramid was probably available for inspection by the elite for thousands of years.
Could some group with access have considered the GP a work in progress and added their own graffiti is the question.

Several thousand years ago others made a possible Jupiter connection to the same "crew mark" we are considering but they went beyond that in this depiction of the "Siege of Syracuse". Jupiter and Neptune were brothers in the Greek influenced mythology. The two fingers "TU" together on one hand in the illustration would make 9 fingers symbolizing the 9 planets including Pluto.

Since this illustration was created centuries before the planets were telescopically discovered while the Earth was still officially flat you are not alone in your confusion.

Perhaps but the Arabs had to bash there way in. There were lot of sarcophagus to be seen outside of pyramids.

Like where? The relieving chambers were only reached by using explosives.

...ah, if you say so - looks like a very great s t r e t c h.

Opticae Thesaurus by (Al Hazeni) used that image as a front piece of the and was meant to show , showing rainbows, the use of parabolic mirrors to set ships on fire, distorted images caused by refraction in water, and other optical effects.

The world wasn't 'officially flat' the Greeks figured out it was round in circa 3rd century BC.

The portrait of Ḥasan Ibn al-Haytham was on the Iraq 10,000 Dinar note.
Both Jupiter and Neptune have large spots from storms produced by the Coriolis effect.
That they would know Neptune had storms 4500 years ago seems like a stretch to me but Al Hazeni was one of those polymaths that could think in base 47.

Jupiter

J=10
U=21
T=20
10*21*20=4200 (that's years).

Hint "John 21".
Those tick marks in 4 rows may have been a reference to arc minutes (at night) but if we are thinking in base 47 it could have been something else.

At least we've got some of this esoteric stuff linked enough for some 11 year old child to figure out.

Is it the math you are having trouble with?

No your belief in apophenia seems to have confused you to the point you're not making any sense and ignoring my answer.

...and what does this have to do with voids in GP?

I went back and re-read your contribution and I have say it makes no sense. So try one more time to explain what you are going on about or if not just drop it.
