I've been wondering, how many people have their ATS Site Style set to "Light Theme" (versus "Dark Theme")?

Personally, the 'Light Theme' actually hurts my eyes. I much prefer the dark theme for ATS.

The reason I'm asking is, because the light theme changes (pretty dramatically) the impact of almost all the avatars, so I wonder how many people see many of these avatars using the light theme versus dark.

What theme do you use?

If I'm at work I use the light theme because it kinda resembles email if someone is just glancing as they walk by. Otherwise, I also prefer the dark.

I also use dark theme, and I use it on YouTube and wherever else it's ever an option.

Another thing that I do is dim my phone screen considerably at night, and on the rare occasions that I'm using them I'll do the same thing with my laptop and TV.

I'll also always try to switch off about an hour or so before bed too.

For me it's about trying to minimise that blue light, I have problems enough sleeping as it is.

blue light at nightAlthough it is environmentally friendly, blue light can affect your sleep and potentially cause disease. Until the advent of artificial lighting, the sun was the major source of lighting, and people spent their evenings in (relative) darkness. Now, in much of the world, evenings are illuminated, and we take our easy access to all those lumens pretty much for granted.

But we may be paying a price for basking in all that light. At night, light throws the body's biological clock—the circadian rhythm—out of whack. Sleep suffers. Worse, research shows that it may contribute to the causation of cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity.

I don't like bright screens.

Yeah, I don't either.

I wish there was a way to change everything to dark theme.

Dark, saves battery and more comfort for eyes reading

I use dark exclusively.
Easier for me to see, and I guess it probably saves battery life when I am on a phone.

I use dark themes pretty much whenever possible.

Dark. Defintiely easier on the eyes (perhaps you remember the days when a green screen was thought good, for the same reason).
The only catch is that the results on "Search" are unreadable without switching to Light.

If I could a darker version than what is available, I'd use it.
Dark, always and forever.

I like the site theme the same way I like my women.
