please L-rd in heaven allow this to happen

The memelord in chief himself threatened to give testimony before Adam Schitts circus sideshow of an impeachment hearing.

If this comes to pass I guarantee it will 100% be the best comedy show ever televised in history.

Donald Trump said Monday that he’s “strongly considering” testifying in his own impeachment inquiry, complimenting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the idea in a tweet after again insulting her and congressional Democrats for pursuing his removal from office.

Trump indicated that he thinks his testimony -- possibly in writing -- would be a way to resolve the inquiry and get Congress focused on issues he’d like to advance before his 2020 re-election campaign, including a new North American trade deal and drug prices.

He said that he’d “strongly consider” testifying in the House’s impeachment inquiry after Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that he’s welcome to do so.

“The president could come right before the committee and talk, speak all the truth that he wants if he wants -- if he wants to take the oath of office or he could do it in writing,” Pelosi said in a interview for CBS’s “Face the Nation” broadcast on Sunday. “He has every opportunity to present his case.”

Trump on Monday criticized the hearing, questioned the House’s progress on passing the U.S. Mexico-Canada trade agreement and referenced Pelosi’s comments. “Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!”

I wonder who gets to ask questions and if he gets to answer them all.

Waste of time and a setup.

I'm not sure if that would make things better or worse. The Dems would just twist his words to fit their narrative.

I hope he doesn't... he has already given testimony in writing in a tweet made during Yovanovitch's hearing. He explained his reasoning for firing her, and apparently explaining such a reason is now "witness tampering."

So what is the new term for actually testifying before Congress? "High treason against humanity"?

No, the best thing to do here is let Shiff hang himself. Everyone on the Republican party needs to shut up and let Shiff run his circus, grow a pair enough to introduce Articles of Impeachment, let the House impeach Trump, and then the Senate can call Shiff as a witness on the record along with his whistleblowing buddy and destroy every hint that he ever even had a political career.

All it would take is 15 minutes being questioned by Guiliani and he would be curled up in a fetal position whimpering.

While we're there, we can also get Pelosi and Biden on the stand to expose their actual crimes. Then we can investigate them to within an inch of their lives and if they so much as mention innocence we can then convict them of abuse of power. Who knows? Maybe we can call in Obama and Hillary too. If we're gong to play this game, let's get to playing.

my message to Trump...

listen to the SC Senator Lindsay Graham, he states the 'Impeachment Inquiry' will go into Legal Limbo when the package is forwarded to the Sentate… as the 'Inquiry' contains NO Justice Evidence, it has only non-legal snips of some facts the Democrates are trying to pawn off as Legal Evidence and Actual Crimes by Trump or ordered by POTUS #45

DJT should turn-his-back on the Inquiry Farce as just nonsense with no legal findings about Impeachment or a proper Process

Pelosi is trying to trick Trump to make the Appearance of that Psycho-Drama 'Inquiry' seem Credible and have Gravitas… Sen. Graham already said the recommendations sought by the Inquiry process are DOA when sent to the Senate (the Adults in-the-room)

Well, what else could he say?

Sure he'll "consider" it.

But that doesn't mean he'll actually do it.

The evil, amoral, satanic left wouldn't let him out alive if he went in their evil lair of vile putrid, doom and death.

God I would enjoy nothing more than Trump giving testimony. Its a categorically and completely awful idea of course, and no legal council would advise him to do so (which is perhaps good odds he will).

Sure, why not. Set up a cage and then hand each of them folding chairs so they can whack the crap out of each other.

They say he did this to bury a political opponent but in turn, they're doing exactly that! They're using this farce to set people against him for this 2020 election.

There should be some law against this! If there is, he should charge them!

Like 3 weeks ago, the President was "considering" doing a fireside chat to America, where he'd read the transcript between him and Zelensky. Decided that was too boring, and nixed the idea.

I'm in hopes he doesn't give it another thought.

Let the clown show deflate like an old balloon and die.

He’s just messing with democrats heads and stirring up the main stream media .

He did the same thing to them with the Mueller investigation and ended up submitting written questions .

This is how Trump handles the press .....

Not under oath, he hasn't.

Since when does that matter? Nothing else legal is going on in the House Intelligence Committee.

Come on, put up or shut up... crap or get off the pot. Let's see those Articles of Impeachment! Make sure witness tampering via tweet gets in there.
