But the title of this post is over 300 temperature records broken. So they haven't really been broken then?

So they haven't really been broken then?

Sure they have.
When you include things like lowest high temperature for November 12th ever recorded in Chicago.

Weather service meteorologist Kevin Birk said the high for the Windy City is expected to reach 21 degrees, which is seven degrees lower than the previous record set for Nov. 12.

www.cbsnews.com...

But "all time lows?" Nope. It's sort of like "city record for fastest 50 yard dash by a 12 year old girl weighing less than 80 pounds."

Global warming does not mean no place will ever be cold.

my understanding is that climate change throws out the delicate equilibrium of weather patterns and causes more extreme weather anomalies of all kinds. More and bigger tornadoes, super storms, fires, heatwaves, and, yes, cold snaps.
And we're seeing evidence of more of these kinds of things all the time.

But then, i'm just some lowly left leaning stooge, clealry brainwashed by whatever it is y'all hate today, not a mighty galaxy brain ATSlord like so many here, so what would i know

Those effects are seen before every grand solar minimum, too. They just don't tell you that in the climate change department. It's easier to believe what they've been peddling since 2000.

Citation required. Or is that something like the Earth facing a certain side of the Sun? Something you made up.

The effects of CO2 on climate have been looked at since long before 2000.

NASA has been proven wrong on multiple occasions, manipulating their data. I thought everybody knew that. Sounds like you need to come up for air.

It wasn't a partisan issue before 2000 so nobody ever cared to report it or give it a second thought. They also predicted total doom by 2005 or 2006, and they predict it again within 15 years. Always from the left as they promote elimination of coal and fossil fuels.

The weather before the GSM was said by Zharkova. I don't have the link to the podcast she said it on.

I am not familiar with these predictions. By whom were they made?

Is she also the one who said the Earth will face a certain side of the Sun? Or might you have misunderstood?

Apparently NASA has popped its previous position on the suns activity for temperatures on Earth out of the way and pushing the CO2 Narrative. However even NASA admit the upper atmosphere is and has been in a cooling trend for the past 18 years. Planning for Global warming, is planning for a problem. cornwallalliance.org...

However even NASA admit the upper atmosphere is and has been in a cooling trend for the past 18 years.

For the most part, the article you linked makes no sense at all. The links they provide do not say what they say they do.

“The thermosphere always cools off during Solar Minimum. It’s one of the most important ways the solar cycle affects our planet,” said Mlynczak, who is the associate principal investigator for SABER.
www.thenewamerican.com...
Every solar minimum. Every 11 years or so. Like the one in 2008 and the one we are approaching. You might want to find out what the thermosphere is. Hint: it has absolutely nothing to do with the troposphere, where weather happens and we live. You can read more about that here:
climatefeedback.org...

But the link it provides from NASA (the one that disappeared) does say this:

However, a new force for change has arisen: humans. After the industrial revolution, humans introduced increasing amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, and changed the surface of the landscape to an extent great enough to influence climate on local and global scales. By driving up carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere (by about 30 percent), humans have increased its capacity to trap warmth near the surface.
joannenova.com.au... ouse-gases/
Which is about the troposphere, where weather happens and we live.

Yes Phage their is a solar minimum in in every cycle, but when each Maximum is lower than the last, measured in sunspot activity it means that things are getting cooler . This has happened during the last eighteen years, previous to that it was a warming trend, the warming causes the increase in CO2, the CO2 does not cause the warming. Anyway not long to wait.

You have yet to demonstrate this.

This has happened during the last eighteen years, previous to that it was a warming trend,

No. The planet has warmed over last eighteen years.
Solar activity has been declining for more than fifty years and the planet has been warming, not cooling. This year is on track to be the 2nd warmest on record.

the warming causes the increase in CO2,
By what mechanism? What causes this? Are you saying that the gigatons of carbon we put into the atmosphere each year has no effect on CO2 concentrations? Seriously?

the CO2 does not cause the warming.
Incorrect.

Cancel my prediction for a warmer December, The Stratospheric warming over the poles will cause greater snowfall . It will be worse than 1911. It will probably be freezing in Dallas, nice in Alaska, Warmish south of Greenland, And freezing cold in Europe.

I live in Princeton, BC in the mountains and we've had a chaotic year and winter got scary cold early on with record snowfalls and temps as low as -37 followed by wind chills. My water pipes froze and so I have to walk into town through 5 feet of snow that fell in one day. I ended up getting frostbite, got sick and could not make it back which worried me. Where I loved we had already lost our power and when I called my friends and neighbors they told me the power was out and that the snowdrifts and some small avalanches made it dangerous to come home. It deeply upset me because of my animals and so I begged them to break into my place to rescue my animals and bring them to where they had congregated with propane heaters, cans of Sterno, thermal underwear and chemical pocket heaters and other ways to warm up the cabin. There was a fireplace but they made the decision to only use it if the temps got 5 - 10 degrees warmer. The next week we started checking the news and heard about people dying all over from severe cold that hit as low as -50 in some parts. It was devistating. The summer of 2019 preceeding all of this was the wettest and coolest summer in decades which at the time we really thought was good because Princeton is typically arrid in summer and usually by July everything is dead and dry and we often get forest fires but this year everything stayed green until fall. We only had 6 days in July that it didn't rain which was unheard of. We've learned that the grain crops in the praries were hit hard and that down south they had similar issues with their grain crops and that even idaho potatoes have suffered according to the USDA report. China lost over 70's of all their Pigs to illness this year and so the price of Pigs has gone up but then even Beef jumped up a lot. Overall food like cerials, meat and a number of other foods have at least doubled in cost for us with is putting stress and strain on a lot of peoples ability to get adequate food. Our food bank has nothing to give out anymore and the weather has been bitter cold limited us and keeping most indoors.. I love winters but this is way too much and we actually need help. I hope we get an early spring and this cold isnt with us all winter. When we have some internet I have been looking and whatever information I could find. Nasa said its a 30 to 40 Grand solar minimum akin the the Dalton Minimum and I hope to god they are right because the Maunder Minimum looks really scarry! If things dont change and we dont get an okay spring and a summer with decent warmth and not nonstop rain I wont risk another winter like this and will leave my beloeved mountain home. When your skins peels off your face from frostbite, you can spent 1 minute outside without good gear and no skin exposed, power goes out for long periods and you losing running water for a week at a time and are thanking everyone you can for a few candles and a can of Sterno... it changes you... it warmed up to almost freezing the last few days allowing us to move snow and get a side by side into town to get as much supplies as we could for the comminity. we have all banded together and share everything and constantly look out for each other because there have been multiple deaths in the surrounding community.

Im really not a fan of the man made “global” warming idea.

But I have to confess that the latest years in Denmark has been rather bland.
We are more than half into the winter season and we havent had a single drop of anything that resembles snow...
In fact we had a day with 9 degress celcius last week. That’s highly unusual...
