Happy Vet's day to all

I would like to point out that I rant at my veteran friends each and every year on this day. A day we set aside to give thanks.

But thanks for what?

I ask myself this every time the US military gets brought up.

Why was John sent to battle, why can't he be here on this day

Stop sending my friends across the world to effing die.

Pull the f.k outta syria, pull outta iraq

and most importantly dont go get involved with turkey

Thats is all, happy vets day to all

And we just celebrated our young men and women who willingly went to war at age 15-16 in 1914 and lied about their ages to the military in order to go.

Wonder if they would have today.

Why? War is big business. Corporations have to make money.

Kids are more informed today and can look up the horrors of war with a thumb. There is also no pearl harbor www2 incident. Nor probably will be again considering every big military has nukes.

So i doubt kids are as eager to join. I respect people's service, but it's hard to believe we are always on the right side of things. Drone bombing women and children to help reduce terrorism in a country that doesn't really want us there..

There is no honor in killing less advanced people and pillaging them for their resources in the name of Corps and Banks.

WWII was the last war that meant something. Today it is just mercenaries for hire at this point. It's not like people who join the military go without... as a matter of fact you get treated like a king if you fight a shadow war.

I did a thread a while ago www.abovetopsecret.com...

I think back to what men who had fought in Pre ww1 horseback have told me about wars and what they saw Boer war men and WW2 vets

The reality of those wars would break the modern generations like a twig and i am only 52

That was declared war. Unlike all the police actions since then.
