The testimony today by Vindman was meaningless

We're truly living in bizarre times and this is truly an attempted coup of a President in plain sight.

The Witness today didn't provide any evidence. Everything today was his opinion of the Trump phone call with Zelensky. The Republicans can call people who listened to the call and they were not concerned. The reason they can't do that is because Adam Schiff is presenting a narrative in secret that the media is pushing.

He's even telling witnesses that they don't have to answer some of the questions posed by Republicans.

It's a sham. You don't impeach a President based on opinion or because somebody is concerned. If we impeached Presidents because people were concerned then every President would be impeached.

There were people that were concerned when Obama told the President of Russia he would be more flexible after the election.

There were people concerned that the Bush Administration lied about WMD (which they did)

There were people concerned about Jimmy Carter and the Iran Hostage Crisis

This witness today was there to say this is a war hero so you can't question him or his motives but you can because he didn't provide a shred of evidence about Trump. Everything he said was his opinion of a phone call. You don't impeach a President based on opinion.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats keep saying Zelensky was bullied and pressured but Zelensky says he felt no pressure. So you're going to impeach a President based on opinion? When you hear these people speak it's always Trump really meant this or you know what Trump really meant. That's nonsense. You can't impeach a President based on what you think he meant.

The vote is also a sham. It's not a vote on an official impeachment inquiry because that would trigger the rules that allow Republicans to subpoena witnesses without having to have them approved by Schiff. That's laughable. Schiff and the Democrats can deny Republicans any witness they want and because it's on the Intelligence Committee, Schiff can make it so the Members can't publicly talk about anything. This is why you see selective leaks and Republicans don't have access to the transcript so you can't see any cross examination of the Witnesses.

This is a coup plain and simple. It shouldn't matter how you feel about Trump. An impeachment done behind closed doors with selective leaks and anonymous whistleblowers truly shows that we're in a time where Trump Derangement Syndrome is truly frightening.

I'm reading stuff from both Republicans and Democrats that tells me we're sitting on a powder keg. This blind hatred of Trump and this desire to overturn the 2016 election can be disastrous for our Country.

Trump was elected, because he promised to topple the apple cart...

That has no bearing on this case. No bank was robbed. No crime was committed.
We have a treaty of mutual cooperation in criminal investigations with Ukraine. As chief executive, Trump would be at fault if he didn't ask Ukraine to investigate.

The ask itself is a crime regardless of how polite or threatening it is.

As I stated above, Trump was doing his job.
