I have been building and flying drones for over ten years. I own a small business in Yorkshire, UK that uses drones as part of agricultural,
environmental, and construction surveying. We have many drones that we use for our work from small foldable portable units (DJI Mavics), to big
systems that need a crate to transport (Matrice and Inspires). So, I type this with some expertise in the subject.
That is definitely a drone with a laser pointer attached to it. Probably a DJI Phantom model given the size and lighting configuration. They’re also
the only consumer drone that can generate enough lift with even a small payload. Drones generally struggle to carry extra weight, and you can tell
this isn’t as stable as it should be.
Unfortunately, drones make good tools for pranksters.
