Schiff is doing what anyone doing an investigation would do. You don't consult and share evidence with the person under investigation while doing the investigation..

So according to what you just said, Schiff isn't just investigating the President, but he's investigating the *entire* Republican Party?! Really? So none of them can be party to any of it because he plans to indict and impeach every single last mother-loving one of them?!

Let them investigate. The more time they spend on that, the less time they spend on running the country properly, which increases the odds that Democrats will be removed from House Majority next year.

We will see. However, a factor in the election in 2018 of the Democratic majority was impeachment of President Trump. Given the current approval rate of 88% among Democrats for impeachment, I'm not sure you'll get what you want.

The Dems are going to be running Elizabeth Warren next year. (Biden is finished, and everyone knows Bernie won't be allowed to get the nomination, including Bernie himself.) Overcoming the ennui to cast a vote for Liz Warren will be a tough row to hoe. Many will simply stay home.

You know what, I don't disagree with you surprisingly enough. The apathy of Democrats and Democrat-leaners is usually a factor.

She's going to have a hard time running on honesty already.

And she has a really annoying annoyed tone. I've heard it come out at the debates. She'll have trouble when she gets pushed off script.

She isnt able to go off script at all. And when asked a tough question she folds quickly. The real debates, when they have moderators from both sides, will be something she is unable to handle.

At this point all the candidates are getting are softball questions from a single side. Opposite minded moderators are not allowed.

It isn't an impeachment hearing. It's an inquiry. The impeachment hearings come afterwards, and are completely public.

This has to be one of the stupidest moves ever by Republicans. Ranting about how this is a "secret" hearing, when there are Republicans on the committee asking questions. Storming a SCIF with recording devices..

Totally the actions of the law and order party..

Sorry, not the first time this has happened, In 2016:

[en.m.wikipedia.org...]
Democrats refused to leave the floor during this recess and instead gave speeches, streamed online to over a million individuals via Periscope and Facebook, demanding Congressional action to combat gun violence.

The sit-in was staged by about 60 legislators. Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Hillary Clinton showed their support via Twitter.

many Democrats insisted they would remain on the floor regardless, with California congresswoman Maxine Waters saying she would remain in place "until hell freezes over".

You've never see a group so triggered? It's like you've blacked out the day after the election and all the years of losing since....

Can't wait to see how much more triggered you'll be when impeachment doesn't happen AND Trump wins again in 2020.

crowd at his inauguration, One of the first things I heard from him was " can I pardon myself"... wont release his taxes, wont recuse himself from his companies, makes money off his office, makes his family top advisors, has his personal atty doing govt work, most of his cabinet picks are not qualified or in prison now, .... mocks Americans....

Everybody take a good look at what the Dems are calling our POTUS a liar for.
#1 - "Inauguration crowd size." Estimates ranged all over the place and news media photo times pics were taken were likewise all over the place. But, this is what they call "lies".

#2 - "Can I pardon myself" -- Let's put it in context. The Russia Witch Hunt. We now know it was a hoax and a false narrative conjured up by Dems. Trump knew it was false. He knew he was innocent. We all now know it, too. So, yeah....I would pardon myself if I could and the question is perfectly sane when being framed by operatives and people trying to take you and everybody around you out.

#3 - "Won't release his taxes." Not required. Not necessary. His taxes are very complicated and he already gave more than 100 pages of financial details. On top of that, Obama's IRS audited him every year and he is probably still under audit. A billionaire's tax return is not like a lawyer's tax return or yours for that matter.

#4 - "Won't recuse himself from his companies". That's just blatantly false. At the very beginning of his election, he and his attorneys held a press briefing where everything was laid out about how his business affairs would be handled. Everybody was aok with it and it was all done legally and ethically.

#5 - "Makes his family top advisors". I assume you mean Ivanka and Jared. Both are qualified for the positions they have. Both have done excellent jobs. It is not wrong nor illegal. John Kennedy even did it. You can criticize it, but it is not wrong.

#6 - "Makes money off his office". This is laughable. He gives his salary away. He has taken millions in lost income by becoming the president. You are projecting Obama.

#7 - "Has his personal atty doing government work". Are you sure about that one? Or, was his atty. gathering evidence to defend his client against the false accusations, slander, and libel that was being perpetrated against him.

#8 - "Most of his cabinet picks are not qualified or in prison". Name one...just one...cabinet pick now in prison. Who wasn't qualified, in your opinion? Qualified is not the same as finding out after a time that they are not a good fit.

Epic Fail on your part.

This is what the Trump haters point to for their "impeach impeach Russia Russia blah blah blah" stupidity.

Heck, for several months now we've been watching Democrats beg for someone -- anyone -- who is marginally electable to enter the race. They're even entertaining the idea of Hillary coming back, which frankly is like a battered spouse thinking about returning to her abusive partner, because he really doesn't hit her too often.

A month or so ago, several of the major Silicon Valley CEO's openly said they'll support Trump before they support Liz Warren. I suspect that a lot of Democratic donation money is currently being held up while they wait to make sure the Dem nominee is someone business-friendly.

They will probably call him a liar about that, too. If Trump says 300mm and it was 298mm, they'll call him a liar for that, too.
