I think you're being a little melodramatic here.

The part under the line which started out "This is not directed at anyone in particular," is not part of my reply to you, which is why I included it so there would be no misunderstanding and placed it below a line. Sorry if my intent in that was not clear.

When a muddy OP is posted outside the Pit, there is no punishment. It's simply removed and normally we advise that you can go ahead and re-post it in the Pit if you wish. We have done that for some time now but it will be more of a priority. Although if someone, not referring to you in any way, were to do it a lot and intentionally, that could be an issue.

I too was raised around properties that had such fences and even though I never fell for it, others did. For the same reason you mention.
